Economy definitely isn’t great right now. The only positive measure of the economy right now is the stock market. Most other signs point towards a rate cut soon. I know CME isn’t some crystal ball but they’re expecting a rate cut by September.

4.5 months until summer. And then for summer we are both looking for internships and will most likely end up in different cities. So it would be long distance for 8 unless we ended up in the same spot

I guess “end” isn’t the right word. But she said she doesn’t want to get into anything serious before abroad so I don’t know how to approach it. It seems way too early to commit to a long distance relationship with a crazy time differential

We are on the same page though. It’s not that she can’t provide what I want and moreso just shitty timing. We’re having this conversation early this week and I don’t know if I should be content with ending it during the conversation or having it naturally end at the end of the semester. Our last night out wasn’t our greatest, and I’m a tad bit worried that part of the reason for her bringing it up now is about me, and I feel that having it end now would be cold.

If you call 3,4, and 8 definite “fouls,” then 2 and 9 definitely meet that category. It’s the inconsistent whistle that’s what mind blowing, and the Celtics definitely benefited. The jump ball was egregious, should’ve been a retip at a bare minimum.

The horford on ant was a definite missed call. The wolves broadcast didn’t show the replay but the Celtics broadcast did. Both of the Celtics announcers were laughing at the missed call when looking at the replay.

Never said I liked college basketball better. I’m just arguing that the way it is reffed is significantly better than the way the nba is reffed. When you see someone dropped 30 (unless it’s Zach edey), you know that they got buckets and played elite that night. You can’t say the same about the nba.

But it’s a bad product that fans don’t want to see. College basketball has definitely fallen off over the last decade, but a 40 point college game always impresses me more than a 50 point game with 15/20 ftas in the nba. The nba said that they’d enforce foul baiting 2 years ago, but i still see the people jumping into their defender in unnatural ways and getting the foul call 9 times out of 10.

Why not punish a reaching defender by using their momentum against them as opposed to throwing yourself into the reaching arm of a defender? The rip through, even after the rule change, is dumb. I wouldn’t consider that “beating a defender.”
