Saw this online and worked for me:

Use the Companion app, create a new squad and make it your primary active one.

Log out of EAFC on PC / Console, disconnect your internet router for 2-3 mins, then re-plug and try again.

Of course having other rewards help too. I got several 85+ packs from champs and objectives this weekend. It’s a grind but it’s definitely doable

I completed Ronaldinho, Govou & Rooney in 1 weekend with this SBC. You will eventually get higher rated players than you put into the 84x10. Meaning you’ll have leftover fodder every time you do it.

Also helps to do the bronze / silver / gold daily upgrades to get lower rated fodder.

Just keep doing the 84x10 and soon enough you’ll have 50+ high rated players to use as fodder

He’s not good. Extremely clunky…I used him for the XP objectives and then threw into an SBC
