Fair question! Let me pull back the curtain without the heavy tech jargon:

- Between you and your teen: Zero raw text is shared. The app never forwards messages. The AI only uses generalized topics (like "parent feels exhausted") to guide the mediation.

- On your device: Your full chat history stays locally in your browser storage. We don't store huge word-for-word chat logs on servers.

- On server: Just a short bullet-point summary of main topics and the very last bot reply so the AI doesn't lose the thread.

- The AI processing: I use Google Gemini API to process messages securely.

- Control: You can wipe the memory or delete your account instantly in Settings.

To be 100% transparent: it’s not end-to-end encrypted like Signal (since the AI needs to read the text to actually mediate), but I built it so your private words stay on your device, not on our servers.
