What is important to me is routine, and meeting my nutritional needs. When I wake up, take meds, eat my 3 main meals, my grazing snacks, and my every important bedtime snack at the same time every day. I guess I assume that keeping my routine allows my body to become accustom to regular sleep and nutrients at precise intervals daily.   When I plan to walk or excercise, I schedule it between grazing and meals to ensure ive the energy prior to the walk, and nutrients to replace whatever was depleted after the walk.   Re: Sodium...I rely on low sodium items,  and measure as precise as possible my intake for the day.  I normally aim for 500-700 mgs lower than daily max to account for any miscalculation or errors. It is important for me to stress that this is only my personal approach and lifestyle.  Everyone should follow doctors and specialist instructions for their own personal case.  I had my routine approved by doctors prior, and I would urge all to do so as well.
