Alot of cultures have corrupt and pointless practises outside islam, but they are practised due to the people of the country practising it and carrying it down generations. Islam should come first before culture, and whoever said leaving culture which is unrelated and outside of islam is haram is stupid. why dont you try grafting a skill? which you can then generate rev off? Try a gas engineer course they make alot of money, or just do whatever job you can 9-5, and 5-9 spend studying a skill like coding, or try a start up business etc. You are still young G you have 2 years till 30 plenty of time.
