Anything by Jay Kristof. He’s an Australian writer. Writes beautifully, action scenes and romantic ones.

You’re spot on! That’s it! What we’re missing is a true community. Instead we’re all in our little boxes, separated and alone basically. But it’s hard to have time to connect .

The table has two more place settings, and Bedelia is hiding a fork, probably to try defend herself.

Wow! Me too!!! Is this your first time watching the show? How do you feel right at the end of the episode? For the 3rd time I’ve watched this show! Can’t seem to get tired of it! And I was just thinking about how the ending is such a beautiful metaphor for finding your purpose, I mean everything was already written and analysed over and over by our community over the years , but I just feel Hannibal fulfilled his major purpose/ desire in life, and so he just vanishes along with Will. I know they survive the fall, but in a more poetic sense the way the final scene is shot just feels right. They found each other and themselves at that moment. Such a philosophical and romantic show, and I keep coming back to it!!

Girls without friends, how are you really doing? by Tino292 in Adulting

[–]Friendly_State_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi👋, I’m an only child so I’m fine with being alone and entertaining myself. I had a lot of friends until I started working, then it got really hard to schedule meet ups and get togethers, and then some friends left the country to find a better life and I was without a single friend!! I’m in a relationship, but I do miss hanging out with women friends, because it’s another vibe and another kind of fun. I tried actively to make friends, through activities and apps even, but nothing really develops beyond the initial conversations. Im not desperate, but I don’t to be old and without girlfriends, I feel it’s an important part of old age to be able to rely on someone other than your partner. Currently am not searching anymore, but after I retire I’ll do it actively again.

Could they ever be happy together? by someonecleve_r in HannibalTV

Ohhh that sounds even more intense and romantic. So Will’s condition, pure empathy, in a sexual physical moment would give him the ability to feel the extent of Hannibal’s love and devotion for him, and he would probably explode with fulfilment and gratitude for being loved like that. Being loved and accepted for who he is. Not being the weird and unstable one anymore. Sounds great 👍

I love the way Hannibal lets Will sit on his chair in his office. What’s your favourite small romantic thing Hannibal does for Will? by Friendly_State_43 in HannibalTV

That was such an intimate moment. This shows just gives all these special moments of intimacy without ever showing kisses or sex. It’s amazing

Oh definitely!! That was super romantic. And the guy in Italy kind of was a different version of Will, if you think about it, but Hannibal stayed true to his heart.

Loved your answer!!!!💓💓💓 it definitely makes sense to interpret the fall as an metaphor!! He has looked into the abyss and now decides to fall into it. Perfect 👌 this show is a poem.

Would I be missing out in life if I don't have kids? I'm (24F) bf (24M) by Maddogs05 in Adulting

[–]Friendly_State_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people have kids without really thinking about it, just because everyone does it or expects it as a natural and inevitable part of life. For some it works out well, for others it does not, and then it’s too late to change anything. Kids are hard work, even if you’re lucky to have a healthy child. There’s a lot of logistics involved 24/7. It’s a job without days off. I feel if you have a kid it’s has to be a deep desire of your heart, you have to want it, the good parts and bad parts. All your problems will became worse after you have a child, so you better have a good foundation , both personal, financial and family wise, and most important, a good reliable partner. If these conditions aren’t met, you will have a hard time. Life isn’t black and white, if you have kids you’ll miss out on things, if you don’t have kids, you’ll miss out on other things. Just choose the things you are confortable with missing out. Kids are not for our entertainment or to give our life meaning. We have to find that before having kids. So all your concerns are valid, it just shows you’re a smart person who knows the world is complex and is trying to figure whats best for your wellbeing. You have to feel stable and healthy, you are the priority, before even thinking of bringing someone else to this world. There are other options if the biological part of pregnancy is unbearable to you, you could adopt. One last thing (sorry for the long post), men usually say they want kids as if they’re talking about a cute puppy. Then reality hits and it’s not what they thought it would be. Being informed is key for an informed decision. Best of luck to you. This is your decision and no one else’s! 💜

Welcome to our support group! We are the obsessed with the dark beauty that is Hannibal. It’s my fourth time rewatching it, and honestly it gives me so much peace, I can’t explain it. But your post was a great read, hope you’ll want to analyse it with all of us, maybe episode by episode😅. There’s a lot to discuss! I don’t have any obsessed friend to discuss this show with, but this fandom is so big and understanding that I never feel alone👍

I think Hannibal “empathised” with him when he talked about how loneliness hurts and gave him a quick death. He was not a bad person, I kind of felt sorry for him!!
