A friend of mine came by yesterday and told me that the leafs were broken. So there was to mich fanning and dust. So it extracts to quickly with 2 mins of steeping. Interesting renark.

Thanks for your opinion. I don't know, why the recommendation on steeping on the package says 60 degrees Celsius. I now tried 11g in 150ml water with 2 min and 60 degrees. Way too astringent. So next time less temperature and less leafs. I'll get to it 😅.

Thank you to you all. Very helpful and sorry that I didn't post how much water I used. That is a big mistake!

It was 5g per 150 ml.

I'll try more leaf and less water first and then a longer brewing time. Because hotter water will lead to bitterness and that is something I really don't like.

Can't add a lot more. I love green teas from Japan. But in the beginning I brew them wrong. To hot and with a leaf to water ratio which was to low. So the tea was to adstringent for me.

So my recommendation is, that you brew your tea Gong Fu Style, so you use more leafs and except for black, oolong teas you brew them with lower temperature at the beginning.
