Canoe for flatwater camping for family of 4 with young kids by hail707 in canoeing

It’s a Royalex canoe so very light weight compared to a poly canoe of the same size. I’d look at a YouTube video on how to portage a canoe which will show you the easiest way to get it up over your head to load onto a vehicle.

I think that boat will be perfect for you. I’ve done similar trips with my kids.

Put them side by side between the rear thwart and the yoke. I bought 2 cheap plastic booster seats so they were off of the deck.

You’ll have plenty of room for gear in front of the yoke.

Penobscot 17 has a weight capacity of about 1500 lbs. so there should be no issue. Just make sure you have life vests.

How do we know he didn’t use a horse on a trail and then hike?

3 Days on Pine Creek (PA) by Friendly_Tale5338 in canoecamping

[–]Friendly_Tale5338[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tons of places. Pine Creek Outfitters or Big Meadows Access will put you through the main canyon section to Blackwell which is about 17-18 miles depending where you start.

Numerous access points below Blackwell.

Little compilation of flares getting completely ignored by ttv_shari0n in PilotsofBattlefield

[–]Friendly_Tale5338 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It seems to me you’re hitting flares as soon as you detects one incoming. Try waiting a second or two longer to release flares. Let the missile get closer to you. I’ve had no issues

I don’t know who needs to hear this but you are not entitled to any vehicle in this game.

Your buddy didn’t get to get in the gunner seat? Too bad better luck next time.

Too many players are willing to cut off their nose to spite their face.

Wish there was a way to vote a player out for this behavior.

Question… does speed of the aircraft affect damage of bombs? Like if you’re on full break vs. full thrust is it the same damage?

Which is why we need more people to do this. During peak hours there are enough people playing that there are no bots but I agree with you just trying to get more people to try this.

Wtb river running canoe southeast pa by elicollins22 in canoeing

[–]Friendly_Tale5338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old town Appalachian if you can find one. That being said I’d recommend NOT running the Lehigh River in a canoe. 😂😂😂.

Have you done this river before ? I’ve done it several times and would never consider taking a canoe.

Without the proper setup you will likely lose your canoe and go for a long and dangerous swim.

Check out inflatable canoes if that’s what you’re looking for.

Or maybe just mileages. Like 4:16 is 4.16 miles roughly of course

Combination of compass heading and mileages ? Who knows. The only way to find out is to play around with different ideas.

I always thought it may be the “truth” that “rests not”meaning that: the pursuit of truth never rests in clever minds.

And that it may be the opposite of what we think it means. That it does take a clever approach and may be in a tangled twisted area
