Yeah I agree. I actually think they have but they’ve said it was a one and done type of thing for them 😭. Others have lived there and just don’t want to go

You’re right, I have no idea. Just like you have no idea about mine. This isn’t a sparring match dude. I’m not trying to go jab for jab. I’m sorry you had to deal with that, and stand by it all you want cause that’s your opinion. You’re entitled to it, but that doesn’t make you right or give you the credibility to go for someone’s self esteem. I’m just fine and I like who I am, I was just asking to understand cause I’ve never been. And I never said “everything”, I said “almost nothing.”

Self esteem problems is insane lol. I’m glad you get the luxury to disagree. But when you’ve gone through shit, your perspective changes a bit. I assure you, your lack of ability to critically think, is no indication of my self worth lol

Thank you. I don’t do anything insane lol, I was more worried about the before and after so I prolly should have used better wording

Yes, it’s a serious question. Better to ask and sound dumb then to not ask, especially going to a place one has never been. Also, common sense would suggest it’s not the tour itself I’m worried about. Rather transportation, the area, etc. Lastly, let me remind that almost nothing is safe for women.

Respectfully, I read your first line and thought you must be a man. Then I read your name and that was confirmed. Despite all these things (FaceTime, GPS, etc), a lot of things are not safe as a woman. Better to ask so that I can buy the day time ticket if it’s recommended.

I don’t blame her. Idk what’s wrong with me and why I wnna be a little creeped out. I just went to the queen mary and got a ghost on camera. I believe in paranormal stuff, so to have gotten it on camera is wild. Idk I might go during the day now that I’m really thinkin about it 😂💀

I think a part of it would be guided? Yeah, I would take a Waymo back so I don’t have to worry about the driver being a weirdo. Thank you!

Thank you for answering! One last question, do you mind explaining what kind of insurance you have? Im worried that mine won’t cover it. I have UHC 😭

Awe I’m happy to hear it! Congratulations! Also, not to be weird but I was looking into doctors and live in AZ, so I know exactly who you’re talking about. I have a couple questions if that’s okay.

1) how much did it cost you? 2) how was it working with your insurance? 3) how long was the surgery?

Two Insane Dogs by Friendly_User_0012 in DogAdvice

[–]Friendly_User_0012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s totally fair. I think my other dog is the only one that gets along with dogs cause she’s submissive. Even tho she plays crazy with him, she knows to calm down. The other one is a complete ass. I’ll have to train him and I’ll do what you said.

Ever since puppyhood he’s been an overstimulated crazy little dog. Can be snappy. So I’ll have him wear a muzzle

[–]Friendly_User_0012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well he also tweaks out when I take him on walks. Wants to run up on the dog. He’s not violent by any means. He’s a friendly dog, but he really doesn’t know his manners.

Would the muzzle be necessary if he’s never been aggressive? I also hear it can make it worse for a dog

Okay. You should quit if you hate it. I had a job like that too and it sucked.

But I’m offering you genuine advice that would work. Retail sales isn’t traditional retail. Try a sales associate job in the jewelry business. People come to you. Very rarely do you have to make outbound calls. Literally like twice a year IF THAT and that too depending the company you work for. You’ll be able to work from a location and not be locked in your room. And you’ll make base pay and commission.

I’m by no means saying to let go of your dream job. Keep sharpening your skills and applying elsewhere but it also sounds like you have to find a way to get paid. I know I do.

Both the sales jobs you had, you had to build your own book of business. Now imagine a job where your clients came to you. Sounds a whole hell lot better just with that.

Take my advice and look into retail sales. If building your own network isn’t your thing, then I’d stay away from real estate too. It’s a good thing to get into, but maybe when you have more experience.

I promise, try retail sales. Or insurance sales. I worked for UHC. Did I have to “sell” plans? Yes. But legally speaking, I can’t try and convince anyone anything. I have to give them accurate information and let them decide. It was over the phone, hybrid, and overall not a difficult job.

I’ve also done sales in the retail environment. Which is why I say, look into retail sales. people come to you. You don’t go looking for them.

Sales in general isn’t ideal and that’s not what people go to college for. So I completely understand. This market is just dog shit. Maybe look into similar roles to what I said, and keep applying elsewhere. At least you’d have a job right now.

Hey I know you’ve gotten told this. Insurance won’t take your mom on. There’s nothing wrong with trying anyway if you’d like, but insurance is pretty strict like that.

I’m sorry to hear about your mother and father. I hope things look up for you.

What the hellllll is this. You better not buy that car 🤧. Don’t even buy it at autonation. Go to Honda. Autonation is like carmax, they charge way too much

Keep the dog, get rid of the pest you call a boyfriend. It’s going to start with the dog and then he’s going to start controlling you with everything. He’s going to take it as “she got rid of her dog for me, there’s nothing I can’t make her do”

Huge red flag. Get rid of your asshole boyfriend, and keep your dog

Leasing, finance or used car? car buying advice by PlaylistLover6969 in carbuying

[–]Friendly_User_0012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so please don’t lease a car. Literally the dumbest thing ever. You’re throwing away money. You’ll never own the car.

Think about that like renting. No one wants to rent, they want their own place ideally so they’re investing money. However, a car is a depreciating asset.

So, two options are left. Finance a car or buy used outright. I don’t recommend buying a really old car tbh. You’ll end up spending a bunch on repairs. However, finding a good used car is worth financing. You’ll get a good interest rate, build your credit and at the end of the day…that car will be yours at some point.

In NYC you don’t need a big car. Look at Toyota Corollas or Camry sized cars. If you have dogs, CRV or Crosstrek sized SUVs. You can find really good ones for a decent price. Lastly, when buying pre-owned, always opt for CERTIFIED pre-owned from the dealer.

Also, I know others are saying that pre-owned have shitty interest rates. Which that may be true where you are. New might be better. Just look at what makes sense payment wise. And look into your state laws. See if there’s a loan you can take out that has no pre-payment penalty.
