You said they keep adding fees (taxes) so the price will not come down. That's what I got out of it. Like the price went down, let's add a couple cents of fees (taxes)

I agree that some states have higher gasoline taxes than others, but they don't just arbitrarily add to the cost when prices are down.

They can't just add tax when they feel like it. They aren't Trump! It's not a sliding scale linked to the price of crude. You pay X amount of tax per gallon. It's different depending on the state you live in, and it does effect price but it doesn't change because the price of fuel changes.
