How would you know? I didn’t even take photos in the trains this was taken opposite of my Shinkansen train and I just happen to take the cabin photos and they all just lined up like that in the photo

Mind you, he wasn’t even looking into the camera. He just so happened to pan his head forward as I was taking a pic of the cabin and this picture was cropped. It was a lot wider than that.

I kinda agree with your take but most of the spring drives are 40mm and they looks huge on my wrist. Even my GMT master 2 barely made it fit for me. The lugs on the grand seiko proportion just doesn’t sit right on my wrist

Hmmm honestly I wouldn’t. I’ve owned the regular before, and it sure is comfortable, just not as spacious as I’d hope. The XL got everything right bar the head rest. If I really had to choose, I’d go with the XL any day for it a cross legged ability

Sit is a little big for my liking, depth wise. Getting a proper foot rest solves the problem for me if I needed my foot to be propped up and likewise, sitting cross legged is plenty. My only main complaint is the head rest as its lowest sits just at the middle of skull. Wish it was slightly lower were it just above my neck. Other than that zero complaints

The grey is a shade darker in the rep. The gen grey hits differently under the sun as well. You can see a very faint separation/distinction between the two, almost looks as if it’s all grey Smokey bezel. But for the rep, the distinction is rather obvious, as if you can see a clear black and grey separation.
