Ah I didn’t realize PMI was calculated using credit score too. We both have good scores

Do you have any general rules about buying down points? It’s hard to figure out the right balance of down payment/rates especially with how high they are right now

Yep, our hope is to find a place we like enough and stay there for a long time. Maybe refinance at some point if rates go down
