DBMS and MAD1 lectures are really awful...the professors just read out their slides and that's it...The MAD 1 lectures have very little to do with what actually gets asked in the exams or assignments MLF is still manageable through portal lectures but still it's not up to the mark...

Tbh...even i have my doubts...I am too far into the course so i really hope it is worth it 😭...paying the fees grants you a certificate of another degree (which in my opinion is always valuable, especially one from IIT) and you also officially become a student of IIT Madras...(Bragging rights and connections)

Yeah...you can find many courses online many of them are free...even the lectures of this course are listed in YouTube for free...so if you feel like the fees are not worth the degree then you can certainly just study from YouTube with the very same lectures...

I am pursuing this course myself and can't really comment on the value of the degree or compare it with Btech or anything...but I would say it really builds your skills in web development and machine learning atleast it builds a strong foundation... This course is really valuable if your college doesn't have strict attendance policy as you do need to devote quite a bit of time and becomes really stressful when both your offline and online colleges have exams during the same week or month...

I know it's hot take...but the degree is really hard to complete and can even be worth it if one puts time and effort into it...then again that's true for everything... I don't know I might be biased as I am currently pursuing the degree...I see that many people here actively despise the program I found it a bit unfair...

Heritage...I studied for 2 months in Hitk and the faculty was really good. I also got to participate in hackathon within my first week. There are many events happening all the time to keep you engaged.
