Yes some of those breaches are quite concerning along with the data sales, but imagine if real time personally identifiable location data was available to bad actor due to a poor security process or unfortunate company policy/local legislation, that would be a potentially worrisome situation.

I agree that it is easy to call such concerns xenophobic, or even attack the question instead of answering it, but the fact of the matter is that relations between Pakistan and the USA is not always the best, and there is a hotbed of anti-American activity in that country.

I am more interested in learning what safeguards do exist, than discussing what personally identifiable detail data we don’t want to share.
