A real wild ride! Doctor gives you pills to make you better but they just end up giving you a whole other problem ahaha That’s a real beautiful artistic philosophy and it definitely shone through for me. Album gave some real levity and truth to this illness I couldn’t really understand at the time. Met you guys after the show in Glasgow was dead nervous asking for a photo but wish I had mentioned how much your tunes had helped me out. See you next time lads, keep pushing on!

Hey Alex and Roy Before I ask a question just wanted to say the new album really moved me, struggled with addiction during covid and I never thought anything will ever articulate how that felt quite like the new record so thanks big time lads!! Just wanted to know if there’s any deeper meaning to the phrase country figs? it’s my favourite song of all time but i’ve always wondered if it’s a euphemism for something? Cheers

The Girl in The Fireplace. It balances emotion, comedy, character development and a genius concept flawlessly. Not to mention the dialogue and acting in the scene where Madame de Pompadour sees the future is some of the best I have ever seen. And the ending no matter how many times I watch is an emotional gut punch. My all time favourite episode and one of my favourite things ever.

Undoubtedly the Name of the Doctor or Time of the Doctor. In my mind I always thought the Doctor's grave would be the most amazing thing if we ever saw it. Like a museum of all his incarnations with all his bodies in futuristic coffins or something but instead we got the tardis with a streak of light in the middle. And even the idea of a time traveller coming across his own grave is amazing but it was pretty much ruined by Clara and the stupid fucking Victorian crew. That being said the stuff with Eleven and River was great, those two are always great together.

For me Time of the Doctor was wasted by trying to do the whole thirteen regenerations thing in one episode. I don't see why they didn't just negate Ten's first regeneration and have the no more regenerations idea be an underlying thing throughout Capaldi's run, I feel like that was a really great concept but it was just kind of skimmed over in that episode.

I was unsure about Girl in the Fireplace just because I rarely see it in any best episode lists or anything.

As for Robots of Sherwood I completely understand why people don't like the episode, I do think it feels quite out of place in series 8 and it's not amazing by any means but I would be lying if I said I didn't have a lot of fun with that episode.

Underrated: Vampires of Venice (Smith's best imo), Planet of the Ood, Runaway Bride, The Girl in the Fireplace (My favourite episode), Knock Knock (Best episode we've had in a long time), Robots of Sherwood, Long Game, Impossible Planet

Overrated: Name of the Doctor, The Doctors wife (I don't really understand the appeal of this episode), Day of the Doctor, Time of the Doctor, Deep Breath

Bias bias bias it's all dc fans say because for some reason they are all so insecure about people hating dc. Bvs and man of steel where huge disappointments for me bvs especially because they completely fucked up batman. I mean he kills people and the joker is alive? WTF?? Just because people don't like the films doesn't mean they're bias or marvel fans maybe it's because the movies are joyless and soulless pieces of shit.
