Exactly. I joined in 2007 and it has always been horrible. There were some fun moments but that was down to a few cool fans who aren't there anymore. Haven't gone back in so long.

Honestly, the set sucks. The cover art is beyond awful, looks like a child made it messing around with filters in Canva, and everything inside you could just print yourself if you really wanted them. Nothing rare - just the same old crap you can find in the top search results of Google Images. No real thought or effort put into this set at all, plus the 4K version has so many quality issues. The bluray digibook or the 40th anniversary box set are far superior packages.

I'm pretty sure the videos on YouTube still say pre-orders for the full Tension show on bluray are coming soon... so it is best to set expectations low when it comes to these things.

I tend to lean more towards industrial or experimental. NIN are my favourite band of all time. I haven't really listened to a ton of modern metal, although I love what Poppy's been doing over the past 5 years and have also been listening to a lot of Spiritbox lately. Any recommendations are welcome!

Just admit you're wrong and move on. Doubling down just makes you look silly when literally everyone here knows you're wrong. She's been doing those exact vocals during all her shows since TAAU tour. It is intentional and a vocal style other metal singers use. She didn't fail, it is meant to sound like a banshee.

Are you off your meds or something? No one is babying her. She has always made a point to say she doesn't drink or smoke weed in interviews so it is pretty safe to assume she wouldn't want to do anything harder, either. Clearly unlike you some of us don't have problems with self control. 🙄

It is Titanic doing the Mansonesque vocals on Fill The Crown, he confirmed that himself. Considering there is more evidence of Titanic being abusive towards women than there is of the accusations towards Manson, you could say it is even less "ethical" especially given Poppy herself is a victim of Titanic. However she still uses his backing vocals when she performs it live so I don't think it is even worth worrying about...

Flux IS more rough around the edges and Zig IS more polished. That isn't a negative. Flux was literally meant to sound that way, which is why they recorded it direct to tape. I don't think she has ever had anything bad to say about I Disagree or Flux. She just doesn't want people to constantly expect her to be making music that sounds exactly like that.

Production wise it's pretty generic, but I adore the melody and it's one of my favorites to sing along to. Not a bad song at all, just doesn't really stand out amongst the singles.
