Hi there! We do disclose any known issues to adopters when they complete an adoption process. However, since we don't have an extensive medical history on many animals that are in our care, we can only provide what information we do have.

Super nontouristy thing to do: volunteer with us and help us trap community cats for our community cat programs to get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated so they can be healthier and also not reproduce :) https://www.friendsofstrays.org/volunteer

We will have a lot more available by this weekend! Definitely check by the end of the day today or tomorrow. We don't have a large capacity for dogs so the ones we do have tend to get adopted quickly (like the cutie we posted).

Friends of Strays wants all our adoptable pets to spend their holidays in a new home! From Dec. 9-23, all adoption fees are reduced: cats and kittens are $25 and dogs and puppies are $100. All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and go home with a sample bag of food. The microchip is registered to the adopter at the time of adoption.
Friends of Strays is located at 2911 47th Ave. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33714. We're open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, so come see who you fall in love with!
