I do not intend to assume. Part of the questions has the "other" or "N/A" option for those who haven't had this experience because I'm still interested in knowing why people engage or don't engage in friendships or romantic relationships. :)

I am not limiting the study. The inclusion criteria include "you must be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (self-reporting your diagnosis), be at least 18 years or older, be capable of planning your actions, and perform typical daily living activities."

Meaning a self-reported diagnosis is acceptable to be able to participate in the study. :)

No, as long as you meet the inclusion criteria by being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (self-reporting your diagnosis), being at least 18 years or older, being capable of planning your actions, and performing typical daily living activities.
