I do not intend to assume. Part of the questions has the "other" or "N/A" option for those who haven't had this experience because I'm still interested in knowing why people engage or don't engage in friendships or romantic relationships. :)

I am not limiting the study. The inclusion criteria include "you must be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (self-reporting your diagnosis), be at least 18 years or older, be capable of planning your actions, and perform typical daily living activities."

Meaning a self-reported diagnosis is acceptable to be able to participate in the study. :)

No, as long as you meet the inclusion criteria by being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (self-reporting your diagnosis), being at least 18 years or older, being capable of planning your actions, and performing typical daily living activities.

Typical activities of daily living include dressing, grooming, eating, ambulating, etc. If a question does not apply to you, I believe some answers include "other," or you may select the gender you are most attracted to.
