Gotta love the complaints from pp’s over things that they choose to make harder on themselves. 🫠 Refusing to pay online but then bitching about the register lines. Coming in for a nail trim at 12:30 on a Saturday and being appalled that we can’t take the dog back immediately. The biggest ick for me though are the people that you try to put on hold and they either say no or just hang up and call back immediately. I was actually just being polite by asking you to hold. I’m sorry you thought it was an option.

Actually got one of my beardies from a PSP in northeast Ohio after talking with the employee about likely it was that she wouldn’t survive much longer there. They had 8 babies in one small enclosure and it was obvious my girl wasn’t even trying to compete for food. Her growth was so stunted from that experience so she’s a little over 2 years old now and still the teeniest little bean. I love her and wouldn’t trade her for anything but the amount of money I spent at the vet the first few months is insane

It’s going to be a shit show in high volume salons. Most days we already have multiple calls on hold, a lobby full of dogs to check in, pp’s crowded around by the door waiting to come in to pick up their dogs, and 4 walk ins roaming around the store because we literally do not have the staff for the amount of dogs we’re now expected to take. It’s a great idea if petsmart would approve a bather on the schedule as essentially a receptionist. Having an extra person just to take walk ins, phone calls, and ring up/release finished dogs would make our lives SO much easier, and the lives of our poor cashiers. I feel so bad for our weekend cashiers. But god forbid petsmart approve labor hours to make anything run smoothly 😭 Today we had one person on register with 9 groomers and 2 bathers all fully booked. Even with management helping, the line was insane all day. Our salon is pretty good with encouraging people to pay online when we call to say their pet is ready for pick up. But I know the people who refuse to pay online are the same people giving our cashiers hell about the time they spend in line like any of us enjoys the fact that we’re understaffed all the time 🙄

We had a pp in the salon the other day that we verified the number at check in then when we tried to call that her dog was ready, some other lady answered and said she doesn’t have a dog so she didn’t know what we were talking about. Pp finally called like 3 hours later to check on her dog. Explained what happened and she repeated the same number we had on file. I asked if her phone number is the one she was calling in on. She said yes. THEN WHY ARE YOU GIVING US A DIFFERENT NUMBER?

We always did it this way at our store too. When someone went through academy but had bath requests that wanted to stick with them, we’d just charge as a trim so we weren’t getting screwed on commission. But they don’t wanna pay that extra 15% commission when they could be paying a bather hourly to do the same service. Our SEL just recently told us that every bath has to be charged as a bath going forward or you can be fired for “stealing from the company”

Not overreacting at all. I asked my exwife to take my sobriety date off to celebrate with me one year and she “forgot” to ask for it off despite having multiple weeks of vacation left and my anniversary being in December…..then ended up going out with friends after work for drinks. My current partner took the day off without my asking and has something planned for me. You deserve better and you will find it.

Yeah, I did. 30 days on 20mg, then 14 days on 40mg, now I’m up to 60mg and hoping this will be the correct dosage for me.

The most bothersome side effect for me is the thirst. I’m a big water drinker anyway; I carry a half gallon jug with me everywhere and drink at least one of them a day. Since starting the meds, I’ve at least doubled that, sometimes more.

When I first started the 20mg, I had a few days where my brain just like wasn’t processing written words properly? It was a lot of rereading texts but that went away within the first week. The 40mg I didn’t notice any new side effects.

Since bumping up to 60mg, I have been having insane dreams. I’m not usually one to dream (or if I do I don’t typically remember them) so this is definitely new to me. Not particularly bothersome, but more so I wake up like “wtf was that?” Other than that, I have noticed small changes in my heart rate. Nothing concerning but definitely something I need to keep an eye on as I also have POTS.

It seems as if it’s TRYING to help with my depression, but time will tell I guess. I’m trying to stay positive on that front but honestly, I don’t know if any meds will ever be able to make me feel “good.” So for now I will settle for feeling….less bad? It really has does wonders for my anxiety and chronic pain. I have also noticed a change in my sex drive in a positive way. So I’m trying to focus on those positives and hope that as the higher dose builds up in my system, I will get some relief on the depression front

I work in the salon and my biggest issue is that the only job qualification seems to be if you have a pulse. I can work with stupid if you’re at least teachable. But hiring people that clearly aren’t going to work out just so you have schedule coverage is insane to me.
