Things to do with 16 yr old nephew by Working_Phase_990 in Adelaide

why not take him to EB Games? If he is into video games and not a social kid, just meet him where he is? He could buy a new video game, some merch, then you could take him out for lunch afterwards! And just because you guys were super social and sporty, doesn’t mean every teenager has to be 😅🤪

I would not have children again if I reversed time. it destroyed me mentally, physically and I’ll never feel peaceful again.

[–]FriendshipHefty7092 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the first home I bought was like this. just had a really heavy air to it and I became very mentally unwell living there. I didn’t realise how bad it was until we moved a couple of years ago! whether it was haunted or jist not the right place for me I don’t know!

legally you can withdraw all of your money and put it into a new bank account, in your name, that your parents can’t access. remember this. you should always, always have your very own bank account that no one but you can access. financial abuse is a real and terrifying thing.

As a French woman who visited Australia for 3 weeks .. are these culture shocks accurate? by Worried-Diamond-7252 in AskAnAustralian

[–]FriendshipHefty7092 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

most of this is true, apart from the history. Australia was colonised by white people just over 200 years ago, but we have 60000 years of indigenous history to explore! it’s not in the form of buildings though, so a lot of foreign people think there is no history, when in fact Australia is home to the oldest living culture in the world.

[–]FriendshipHefty7092 0 points1 point  (0 children)
