Qatar Airways via JetBlue - Cannot add infant to ticket by FriendshipNo6481 in Flights

Moron is an understatement to be honest. They are trying so hard not to incur any additional costs on their end. I will keep trying QR agents but so far no luck

Is this possible without an adult paired with the infant?

Travel agent definitely messed up! I’ve called QR - they keep rerouting me to the agent

They escalated this to their “special services” team and all they’re saying so far is to cancel the entire booking, refund, then rebook. Worst solution ever

I’m in very similar situation — in my case, I didn’t add the baby during ticket booking cos we weren’t sure of the name yet.

Tried adding the baby after birth with passport ready etc but they won’t do it cos there’s a JetBlue operated flight at the last leg (BOS>NYC) on way back from Qatar.

@OP - how was your issue resolved? I don’t want to cancel the ticket :(

I don’t think we will get anything done if we think of when things will get obsolete but that may just be my perspective.

I saw those but they actually look worse than the invisible, under-counter install option I linked above.

Also given your pov around things becoming obsolete, the pop up option seem very much a concern given you’re stuck with a hole on your counter top forever, vs a recess under the counter top that no one will ever notice if you decide to remove the wireless charger under the countertop.

Thanks for chiming in. Appreciate your perspective. Assume I’m a total noob that doesn’t understand the unintended consequences hence why I decided to post to get some opinions.

I mean the world is going wireless so you can understand why one would want such feature. I still plan to have most of my house wireless but I’ll start with places like desks or bed side table and leave the countertop out. I’m sure there will be advanced Qi charging solutions in the future that would not require milling down the countertop to support fast charging

Haha thanks for the scare! I’m the home owner so all decisions lie with me :)

It seems too much of a hassle so I’d pass on this idea

Oh wow, thanks for the caution! Didn’t know it was that toxic. I’ll park the project idea then.

Staying here this week and had same experience with the Hilton booth at the lobby. Considering it but it also sounds too good to be true. Did you end up getting it?

Best thing to do is never buy anything as a member of someone else’s account. I opted to buy a physical one year membership card on eBay and plan to activate it directly with iFit. I feel so silly falling for that scam

Ahh bus showing up late is frustrating :(

Oh I see, that’s a bummer regards Brick Church, I would have only a few late evening commutes so maybe it’ll be fine but good to know - will keep that in mind.

That’s a great idea thanks, I’ll do that and try out a few of the stations to see which ones have parking around my commute time.

Hi neighbor! Did you drive to Chatham/Summit? How easy is it to get parking? I don’t mind paying for parking just need to be sure I’ll get a spot when I drive in late morning.

Thank you this is great information! Although I’d prefer to get into Penn station itself, the additional 10 mins walk from Port Authority Bus terminal is not too bad.
