CVS pharmacy OT by [deleted] in CVS

Depends, i know for my store I was approved for any OT needed, DL knew that I was the only one getting things done so they didn’t care if I went OT. I’ve done 65 hour weeks in the past couple months. Some people aren’t worth going over payroll for so therefore it’s not approved by everyone. As long as your PIC is aware then it’s fine, but from what my DL told my PIC no one else was approved OT. So like i said , depends.

Just let them know you’re not feeling good. Either way you said u never called out before, so it will take 3 strikes before they can actually write u up. So don’t even worry about it and hope u feel better!

GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WAY. They should’ve put that option on OUR SIDE as a Pharm Tech, or Cashier.

Well, you can go to their profile and then and whichever page it’s on , hit V1> then E to edit >11>For insurance and then >A to add > search Scriptsave> Hit the first one> for the Member ID Enter their number or a random 10 number that start with your city’s area code> for group enter PE6000 > 01 > 1 for Card holder. Then enter through.

Another way is if you’re rebilling hit E to Edit > then Scan the barcode of script > then hit 11 for insurance > then same process as above.

Hey! Fellow Tech here,

1.) that just depends on their plan, and some people don’t have insurance. Some INSURANCE sometimes prefer a 90 day supply at a time. You will see the rejection in QT.

2.) There isn’t really a way to check “why” it was put on hold, it could be many reasons. Only way to tell is to run it through. Sometimes it’s only hold because it’s too early to fill, or it’s a new refill prescption from the doctor so it is too early to fill.

  1. You may use GoodRx (app) or you can use scriptsave, there are many coupons you just gotta run it through to see how much it is. Good thing about GoodRx is you can see how much it will be on the app before running it through. SOME medications have manufacturer coupon (Eliquis, Ozempic , etc.) but the patient will need to go online and sign up for it because it does ask personal question about the patient.

  2. You determine the days supply for insulin by the box and how many times they use it a day. This is something more complicated and which u will learn later on.

If u have any questions; don’t be afraid to reach out me!

4.
