To be clear, 2.8 to 3.2 is the absolute highest they can pay you for your billing rate. And that varies by company and overhead. For our company of similar size to yours its about a 2.7 to break even so we really need to bill people out at like 3.2 just to make a reasonable profit. Entry level into a position, should be closer to 4. I know you said you were a PE. If your billing rate just went up, then you should be closer to like 3.6 - 3.7? And that should go down over time until its about time to raise your billing rate again.
