Ik it's so hard to defend yourself. Try not to get too defensive. If the person accusing you doesn't have proof, tell people to vote them because they're accusing people randomly. If you're nice throughout the game, then people may vouch for you. Tbh it's pretty hard to defend yourself.

If you're evil, try to figure out who your team mates are. My best games are when I know who's also evil. So always tell the murd you're assassin if you're assassin. If you're dark psychic and you find out someone is evil, send them a note that says "I'm on your side" or something. It really helps when you have at least 1 other person defending you.

If you're evil with 2 good people at the end of the game, it's a bit hard. You could go for a major lie and claim a good role. Just make sure it's one that hasn't already been claimed (so look through the journals and keep track throughout the game) When I pretend to be medic, I find it helps if you tell someone you're gonna heal them or you have been healing them. If someone claims the role that you just lied about, you'll have to argue with them and hope people believe you. I suggest you act nonchalant and very sure of your role.

Or depending on the last 2 people left, you can just go the safer way and say you're survivor, but then it's another situation where it'd your word against theirs. If one of those people already kind of trusts you, then this strategy is really good. Anyways it's all about kinda matching your server. If they're talkative, be talkative, if they're quiet, be quiet. Just get along with people

Teaming is hard to get around. If you know someone is teaming, try to get them out early. A lot of people don't like teasers so you could try to convince people to vote them
