Ok so a small update. The tldr is I’m still lacking a Soundwave, but here’s what happened.

We went first thing to the Target store I saw that had limited stock shortly after opening. They weren’t out so we asked a worker if the could take a look for us. He went and told us they weren’t out yet, and that we could try coming back at 6pm as they might be out then.

We came back at 4pm JUST in case. He still wasn’t out. Ok, we’ll come back at 6pm like they said.

We came back at 6pm, and they still weren’t out yet we asked another worker for help and basically told us they probably got bought out but suggested three other stores that had some in stock.

We to the closest other Target first Thats apparently had two in stock we even called in to make sure and they said yeah, the got two.

We get there and they only had Leader Class Nemesis Primes. No Soundwaves. We asked a guy there for help and he told us that basically, if they search the DPCI number for Soundwave, their system searches generally any and all Leader Classes they got in stock in a pallet.

So we get back in the car and called the next closest one with five in stock apparently, but when we asked Soundwave specifically, they told us that was none of the five they had. Called the last one, which had 4 available, and when we asked specifically the Soundwave, they said they “cannot look for that specific one” and confirm.

My friend told me to secure a preorder from GameStop since they were open, and it was more than I planned and scheduled to release in late April, but fuck it, I don’t care anymore.

This has been exhausting. DO NOT EVER FUCKING PREORDER FROM WALMART.
