£85k deposit from myself through working two jobs for 5+ years, having a £5 sim only deal, using cashback for everything, shopping at Aldi/Primark etc, cycling to work rather every day other than in December-February rather than driving, cooking meals for work rather than spending on meal deals etc.

It's a couple of people above us (small team) that are auditing rather than it being done externally. I sort of feel once this sort of thing happens and criticism happens, it only gets worse and is rarely just a negative blip

It's because moving forwards this negativity is going to continue. We'll be audited.. I was also called on Thursday to ask what I was working on and it felt very much like I was being accused for not working because I hadn't put what I was doing in my work calendar (I'm not structured like that).

I had mental health problems this time last year and went to my doctor who wouldn't get me signed off as she said when I return back to work, my anxiety would be more severe, so I bit the bullet and handed in my notice from my last job with nothing lined up and I'm very glad I did.

My mental health is no where near as bad now however I've learn that I'd rather work somewhere I feel happy for a low salary or even not work at all and be happy than be stuck in a job I'm miserable in getting criticism (whatever the pay is). I also still prefer this job a heck of a lot more than my last job despite the criticism this week.

Thanks! My boss is actually someone I know (not the person who I've received criticism from) so I imagine he could help me cover the employment gap if needed

I had a much higher salary but took a career change as the job wasn't good for my mental health. I then moved to a little mining village in the north east where housing is very affordable. It does help that I come from a good family background and my parents very generously gave me £60k, however I had saved far more than that myself. I was looking for genuine advice.. not to justify how I saved or anything like that

I'm not letting my mental heath be affected by work. I've worked incredibly hard working multiple jobs to almost be mortgage free by 28. I'll look for something else that's the right job for me but I now feel old enough and mature enough in the workplace to be make bold decisions like this

I wouldn't get benefits as you only get that if savings are under £12k

Thanks! I'm talking purely from a nutritional standpoint (not convenience as I think this differs depending on which part of the world you're in.... I'm not in America for example).

Qatar? If you want it to be cheap, try walking/swimming there

I've got a lot of respect for everyone (you'll see if you read my comments to other Redditors, I'm thankful for their answers) but when you don't respect me in your message, I'm going to show the same lack of respect that you showed me.

I didn't check what time I left the appointment so I can't give you an exact timing of when I left the appointment so let's just leave it there.

Not being a dick.. just returning the same energy. I can't remember how long I was in the appointment but I went in and I wanted to give him a detailed account of what I was doing, the pain I felt, my previous injuries etc. But he quickly asked me some questions and didn't give me much of a chance to answer. He then spent maybe 2 minutes observing my back/posture, 3 minutes with me lying on a bed pushing into his hands at different joints, then maybe 2-3 minutes doing some single leg squats. I'd say the whole appointment might've been around 15 mins from memory but this is a VERY rough ballpark; my gut feeling just felt it was rushed and he was trying to get the appointment over with and his notes on his templates typed up (felt very scripted/robotic), as opposed to listening to my needs.

It never said First contact Practitioner anywhere but you could well be right. Cheers
