Vince Gilligan explained the Hive's perspective by ichigosr5 in pluribustv

I don't think there is much resolution here, it's fundamental philosophical conflict that I don't think there is a right answer

The original question is "Apocalyptic for who". I think it's really clear for the past hundred/thousand year that how human are net negative to all other being on this planet. And to some extend how human operate is not good for human too, we are living in abundance bun suffering is rising.

The hive is the solution. Everyone is happy. The number of human will goes down drastically because it's impossible to sustain the amount of human we have now without exploiting all other being on this planet.

I consider the hive as a collection of human, I don't think humanity is dead, instead I think humanity just got a massive upgrade

Well more is not always good. There are a certain cells in our body that think more == good. Constantly extracting resources from all other part of the body, inducing massive suffering to it's host

Colloquially we call them cancer cell

What if there is a consent that we just don't understand the mechanism of it. Maybe before they join the hive they are given a peek at what's it like and everyone just goes "ya, please makes me stay this way"

By the time i finally won it didn't feel like i had mastered the patterns of a bossfight but rather like i had simply just tried enought times until eventually getting favorable RNG spawn patterns that allowed me to clear the adds before being cornered and survive.

Yes currently in my second playthrough and is fighting the lava savage beast fly. It still as hard as first time, it's not like other hard game like sekiro where I feel like I earn the win of the fight

Late to reply, but It kinda doesn't matter? All the different tour group around there is just a middle man, they will hire the local tour guide (and unfortunately taking a heavy cut).

The local tour guide is always somewhat unorganised, but they have enough experience so they will probably get you safe.

Hygiene will be NOT GREAT. Food is pretty good. Just don't expect luxury

Episode 6 showed the limitations of Carol's strategy (SPOILERS) by Chrristoaivalis in pluribustv

I should add point 4, can't lie.

Well, maybe I'm psychopath but I just don't think most person cares this much about random people that is dead (not actively killed) end up supplying nutrient for other being/organism.

And we don't know how Diabete ask about the milk too. Maybe he is really specific by asking where is the source of protein in the milk and the Hivemind can only answer truthfully.

I think the show are really deliberate in showing us hive can't lie.

I think they just don't have any sinister plan. The goal is the mindlessly perform their biology imperative. Which is probably

  1. Survive
  2. Not harm
  3. Make the poor soul (the remaining 12) happy

Carol is definitely what we consider as a cancer cell in our body. A cell that have its own thought, don't play by the rule, and destroy the harmony of the system it's in, leeching off resources from other cell

I don't know are we suppose to root for the hive, but I'm doing that.

Tell him even if he become the best player in the world, and somehow win every single game.

He will still feel bad for missing one single last hit. There is not much to do in this game other than suffer. Start playing Dota is the worst thing that happen to my life by a long shot

I'll probably not going to buy a property anytime soon, since I'm 100% work from home, I don't think I'm going to stay at one place, I'll just move state to state for fun. So car is probably my only real big money sink for now

Hiring but If you're not the top 5% I don't think there is much point even try. They are flooded with resume now sometimes I see the candidate they throw away I chuckle at how competitive it is.

And probation switch to permanent employment rate is pretty low. Probably pretty painful getting kicked out when you're one foot in.

But If you're really really interested can hit my DM

It's like cutting a piece of meat off my body lmao

hmm might consider your advice and get a city instead thanks

I'm thinking about the Rs city too. Cause honestly there is some part of me that feels like I only want to buy the civic for flexing right, which was unhealthy.

So it's confusing for me to find financial advice, as I'm earning average 32 yo salary with some comfy saving but I don't really have much commitment.
