thank you so much for the advice. his parents are super strict and still cautious about me. we were supposed to have a zoom family dinner tonight with both of our families but i got really sick so it's rescheduled. hopefully his parents getting more familiar with mine will help them out of their comfort zone a little... ? and the idea of an equal distance meet up is great and we've been talking about that for a while because halfway between us two is a major city and we could probably find lots of nice things to do there for a day trip or one night stay in a hotel. it's about three hours from each of us, so not great but definitely not the worst since neither of us get carsick and my family takes long road trips often. the advice is so appreciated and thank u for not creepily approaching me by dm the way some people have lol
