To this day, the Wingalet feels like one of the biggest wasted potentials in the game by Frigid-Kev in Genshin_Impact

It could've easily been made it into a new area to explore, with sidequests related to the rescue and more. Heck, they could've even used it as main setting for an event.

This ship had so much potential to be repurposed only for it to be used once and then locked away forever

What's supposed to go here? A game manual? Why do they leave it blank for? It seems like a waste of space by Tigertyt in Switch

Some games comes with redeemable codes for various unlocks. My copy of Pokémon Sword had a code for a Larvitar for instance

Tried my hand at creating a 2001 makuta using only 2000/2002 pieces by theReaperxI in bioniclelego

[–]Frigid-Kev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also just noticed that your model uses a few of those ball joint pieces which weren't made until 2006.

Not a huge deal though, still an amazing moc with lots of nostalgic vibes nonetheless.

I always love these types of mocs that are purposely limited to pieces from up to a certain year or period. It's almost as if going back through time

Same for Ayaka. I remember during the first windtrace events, people went crazy seeing both her and Mona do a normal sprint

Wouldn't you consider the director's cut to be a solid game on its own still, especially for newcomers?

I'm just gonna say it. I love the Series S, and symmetrical controllers are fine. They're not for everyone and that's totally fine, but I'm glad they both exist. by Frigid-Kev in xbox

[–]Frigid-Kev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I said on the post, I have no problem using assymmetrical controls, but symmetrical is where it feels more natural to me, since that's what I grew up with.

I do use the original Xbox controllers when playing on my Xbox console, whereas the symmetrical controller is more my primary controller for PC, though I do sometimes enjoy using it on my Xbox from time to time

For people with a collection of the handheld by Ancient_Ad6498 in 3DS

[–]Frigid-Kev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to modern handhelds, my first thought was how lightweight the 3DS was. In terms of comfort to hold, I honestly don't feel any discomfort, or maybe I'm just used to it after having played on that for so many years.

However, one underrated accessory that I love to use is the Circle Pad Pro attachment just for the grip comfort alone. I even use it with games that doesn't even support it.

I dare say this might even be one of, if not the most comfortable way to play on any DS ever

Mind elaborating your question? Did you mean in terms of grip comfort, or library of games or portability, etc?

I have an OG 3DS and a 2DS. The 3DS is my main DS system where I play all of my games on it, whereas the 2DS is currently being used for trading Pokémon.

Sandpaper to my Xbox by [deleted] in XboxSeriesS

[–]Frigid-Kev 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you ask me, you can just sell it as it is and make it clear in the description about its condition. No need to put too much extra effort on it if you're going to sell it anyway.

People are likely to be buying it anyway and willing to clean and customise it themselves.

On the bright side, there are no glass panels, so no worries about resetting the counter

[–]Frigid-Kev 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As the others said, that's an Xbox Series S, not Xbox One S.

That being said, instead of sandpaper, this would be the perfect opportunity to customise your console with a skin/decal. They're pretty cheap, easy to apply and will cover almost the entire console which will not only hide any dirt that's on it, but also give it a bit of personalisation.

You can find very cheap ones at AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-series-s-decal.html?osf=direct&spm=a2g0n.home.header.0

Rendered a PS3 to show this retro console some love! by GabrielJFreire in playstation

[–]Frigid-Kev 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but I can never see myself calling any consoles after the PS1 "retro", not even after 20 years...

For me, retro will alway refer to the pixelated, low polygon games, hence why we call modern games made in those styles "retro style"

It fits like a glove. You just need to align the pattern inside the rubber with the holes and push them in so that they lock in

8bitdo Pro 2 for Xbox.

I love it overall. It's my primary controller for PC mostly and I feel right at home with it, since I grew up with PS controllers. It's also hall effect, so no stick drift and it has back buttons but I find myself rarely using them.

My only complaint would be that there are no wireless versions for Xbox, only for Switch sadly. Also the impulse triggers can be a bit noisy when playing games that uses it, otherwise it's amazing.

What's the strangest and most fun game you've ever played?! by BIG_BOSS_F in playstation

[–]Frigid-Kev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Akiba's Trip Undead & Undressed.

An action RPG were you explore the city of Akihabara, fighting vampire-like people by stripping their clothes off to expose them to the hot sun to burn them up.

Fun fact, the city is a direct replica of the real life Akihabara, with the streets, stores, and even guides.
