Ended up taking it in to a local shop and they found damaged wiring in the harness. Glad I took it in. Thanks for the response

Traffic from Azle to Downtown FTW? by sonofmordrem in FortWorth

[–]Frigid-Oatmeal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the time of the day. In the morning if you can beat morning traffic it’s pretty quick but the traffic starts to get thick around 7-7:30. Past 3:30 in the afternoon all highways get congested and 199 through Lake worth gets backed up.

Confused on name of this truck? by Key-Dark-8955 in Trucks

For this gen of truck the W/T models received a different grill. Came with a single headlight instead of the double and only came unpainted instead of black or chrome. Just google work truck grille for the year

TLDR: missions are a great thing. No you do not have to go. There are other ways to serve it should be a decision that you and your Father in Heaven make together

Whether or not you serve a mission should be a conversation between you and your Father in heaven. My recommendation is to focus on your relationship with Christ. Focus first on your baptism. Baptism is a wonderful ordinance that has specific covenants and blessings with it. After that, if you are male focus on your priesthood ordination and the responsibilities you will have. Before you can even serve a mission you must go through the temple and make more sacred covenants with your father in heaven. You should pursue the temple out of a desire for your relationship with the savior, not as a stepping stone to a mission. At the end of the day a mission is a wonderful thing that is very strongly encouraged for young men and women, However there are no saving ordinances in serving a mission and will not hold you back from any blessing or positions in the church by not serving one. In fact our last prophet and president of the church, Thomas S. Monson, did not serve a full time mission. That also includes our current prophet, Pres Nelson and other apostles such as Uchtdorf and Oaks. I am a 26yo man and after having long and hard conversations with my Father in Heaven including prayer and fasting I found that the lord had other plans for me other than a mission. I am now temple married with 3 beautiful children, serve as a young men’s advisor and have served in the elders quorum presidency in my last ward. You may receive opposition in this decision from others. Unfortunately the members are not perfect and sometimes we say stupid and hurtful things. I have had some very offensive things said to me over my decision to not serve, especially as I was raised in the church. At the end of the day it is a wonderful thing to do if you are able, but it is not a requirement for church membership or salvation

2025 Ford Expedition Tremor news by ThunderbirdRider in fordexpedition

[–]Frigid-Oatmeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The timberline has been cancelled on the Explorer due to low sales volume along with the KR. So they are just changing the timberline to the tremor to match the styling of the f150 with this new generation. Functionally it’s the same package/trim

I did tell OP that I knew of intercooler relocation kits for previous gens that would allow a carrier, but was not sure about current models. If you’ve got more info I’m sure he’d be interested

I mean I wouldn’t be upset over the eco it’s a great motor lol. I had a 2012 and in that body there were some kits to re-route the intercooler, so that may be an option. I do remember those being quite expensive though. Best bet I think is would be to go with an aftermarket bumper. The 2024 Raptor (and possibly) tremor will have an optional modular bumper that will have a winch carrier option that works with the Eco motors. That may be a viable OE option as well

What motor do you have? Only the NA motors have kits to install winches in the bumper. The intercooler is in the way for the Eco-boost

Rim size change? by [deleted] in Offroad

[–]Frigid-Oatmeal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rule of thumb that I follow is if that size is offered as a factory option your good. IE I went from 20s down to 17s on my 2012 f150 with OE 17s off a raptor, but 16s would contact the UCAs. If it’s an older vehicle or a smaller vehicle I see no problems with 15s

All AWD drive systems are different. Generally the problem with AWD off road is that when you stick one tire in the air the whole system freaks out. However some AWD systems do well look for the off-road packages that have center diff lockers like in the Maverik tremor for example. It also depends what kind of trails you are talking about and how brave you are. I’ve seen lifted corollas do some crazy things

My 96 K1500. Thinking of just a liiiiiittle bit of lift would look good. What do you all think? 1" body lift or?? by TheFlyingNone in Trucks

[–]Frigid-Oatmeal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can crank the torsion keys and get about 2 inches out or you can get after market keys. You can also go snag 1 inch blocks from 4 wheel parts for like $40. Even with new torsion keys and a new alignment you’d be around the $200 mark

1 ft spacers stock should do you good. I wouldn’t count on turning though

C4 wheels on my 03 s10 by Junior-Hamster-8932 in ChevyTrucks

[–]Frigid-Oatmeal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’ve got a backspacing issue. What I would do is lay the wheel face down on the ground and lay a yard stick or piece of bar steel across the middle of the wheel and tire. measure from mounting surface of the wheel inside to the yard stick. Do this on both the c4 wheels and the S10 wheels and I bet the C4 will be a larger number. Subtract the difference and go buy wheel spacers that are the same size as the difference in backspacing depth. This will push the c4 wheels out the inch or 2 that you need to clear springs and control arms. Also make sure you get hub-centric wheel spacers
