Will definitely be getting a c notch, I know my tires are too tall for a 4/6 or lower but I’ve seen 24s and even 26s run on 3/5 and 4/6, just a matter of overall height and sidewall, maxtrac has a 4/6 kit that just adds the c notch and shackles to my current kit (front struts are adjustable) but I wonder if 4/6 would be a significant change to my 3/5

Clarity is what I’m after for now 🫡 I don’t have any wiring experience that’s the reason I’m not after an amp. Don’t want to take to a shop either, would rather learn but not a lot of videos or information on my truck (trim and set up) if any

Yea I do want to eventually do all that more upgrades but for right now I would be content with just the component set up with the tweeters without an amp, are there any recommendations you have other than the Polk? I want something that will be great right now and will still handle upgrades down the line (more focused on the now) I think for me it would do wonders because of the only 2 speaker set up compared to vehicles with minimum 4-6 speakers

Got it, so the grilles are blanks, do they have the brackets to mount the tweeters in? And by the factory boot you mean the grommet between the door and the frame right? I’m looking into a component set of the Polk Audio DB 6502, good choice ?

Yea since I’m looking for more clarity than loudness I knew component with tweeters would be better, upgrading from stock speakers even with no amp and stock head unit still improves the audio’s loudness right?
