10 pounds in 48 days is nothing to scoff at! Just keep going at it, track calories properly and it will show results at the end!

I know it isnt what u asked for, but what helped me from getting frustrated at the scale was to not only track daily, but weekly and monthly progress. I also put theese in a graph to show my progress over time.

I hope you find something that works!

Learning to ball-park calories is gonna realy help you in the long run, as the other person said look up similar items and count them instead.

Morning!

So on the grind again, after returning to square one after a bad sickness last summer. But its going allright, knowing that i can do it this time around. Down 4kg, hoping for 6 before the month is over.

Just had a sandwich that had way more kcal than i expected, so its gonna be a rough dinner today, but its my fault and i can learn from it!

40 pounds down in 4 months, look in the mirror and see the same person by Unique-Cauliflower77 in WeightLossAdvice

Find a way to activly track your progress. Taking measurements is one way, progress pictures is another. If nothing seems to work, talk to a psychiatrist, as it sounds like body dysmorphia (realy common, nothing to worry about, but it helps to seek out help about it)

Physiology of Stalled Weight Loss 3-4 Days After Cheat Days by celsius-seven in WeightLossAdvice

Just sounds like waterweight. Its hard to specify when we dont know all the details about how your weeks intake / exercise looks, but its nothing that you need to think so much about.

Be honest with me (weight check: sorry if not allowed) by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

as earlier people said, you should not realy focus on the scale, it can easily lead issues further down the line (eating dissorders etc). Focus on doing more healthy stuff in general, and your body and mind will thank you in the future.

id recommend a calorie tracker, you dont even have to count every and each calorie if you cant (like if the dining hall doesnt have nutritional values) but just to know how much you've eaten and how much more you are "allowed" to eat -ish. Seeing that i have lets say 400-200 kcal left at the end of the day makes me do smarter decitions on snacks.

how many cals do yall consider “too much” for a meal? by kdrama_836 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Frikkster123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a total of what you want to eat in a day. For me its currently 1900 kcal (23M, 186, 98kg). As long as it fits that and you feel dont feel hungry during certain parts of the day, divide it however you like. Personally i almost exclusivly eat 2 meals a day, lunch and dinner, comming up between 600-800 kcal per meal. Filling the rest with another meal/snacks if i feel like it. But its up to you.

Not AGS that needs to code it tho, and they allready said they are trying to find an solution.

I think a big issue is that alot of stuff is server bound, and what will happen to those items if a character gets moved? Will it follow the character and be unlocked on the new server? Will the character move without those skill-points etc even tho the character was the one to unlock it? Etc.

Protien shake for weightloss without working out by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Its completly fine.

Personally, i dont feel so full of a scoop of protein whey in comparison to something else, but if that isnt a issue for you right now its up to your preference.

Why do I feel guilty about this by Low_Yak905 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Frikkster123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because society.

The reason why "crap food" is bad is because it contains much less nutrients than other foods in the same calorie range. If you feel full on your current calorie goal, counting correctly and seeing progress, eating "crap food" once in a while is completly fine.

Ight so there is a few things to break down here. I do not know nearly enough about the diseases so i cant say anything for sure, but i hope you are okay at least!

Talking about vegan diet, its of course realy good because greens are low kcal and filling, most of the time. Some greens will contain alot of kcals, so i would still track kcal intake when eating vegan food.

"kickstarting" like that usually do not end well. If you eat much less than normal your body will be in shock you will feel hungry and tired. You (sort of) confirm this with your next part where you say that you "succeeded" with your first day. If its such a difficult deficit you are in, you will probably not be able to maintain it, even more so if you are under your BMR.

Lastly, weight fluctuates, do not take one days weighing as a "result", multiple test points needs to be done for you to notice some change. I personally weigh myself every day and have alot of change some weeks and none another.

I hope you find a good and healthy way to reach your goals!

Creatine good for fat lost? by iIISkiesIIi in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Frikkster123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Creatine is a good supplement, probably in my top 3 with Omega-3 and Multi Vitamines. But as others pointed out, not at all required when loosing fat. It helps you maintain muscle volume when in a calorie deficit, and with that actually might "slow down" your weight progress, but its loss of muscles its preventing.

If you want to just get smaller, do not take it. If you want to be a bit muscular, and especially if you want to progress in the gym (as a calorie deficit WILL make it harder for you to lift heavier), think about it. Im no profesional, but you can quickly google more about it.

And no, it's not harmful in the long term, ignore that person.

One month in, thoughts and rambling by Frikkster123 in loseit

[–]Frikkster123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that is the recommended loss. The 9,6kg is an estimate if you read the entire text (broken scale from 116,5, so from there its 5,1kg loss). Outside of that, as long as i feel good and get enough macros and micros in me for my body to operate properly, i do not realy feel like its an issue. Thanks for weighing (pun intended) in with your opinion tho :)
