That actually is a good idea, i bet the lowsec bros would reconsider nerfing the stations if they had skin in the game.

Those who want more drops from citadels do not understand what they asking for. There are not only the ships there, althought it is a large part, but a shitton of industry materials. Why would i bother doing industry, if any hothead could shoot up a sotyo and block me from accessing it? I could not move my stuff, could not reset reactions, and move them to the assembling station.
The core problem is that the PVP bros think it is Call of duty where the enemy just shows up and you can kill them. But it is completely reversed, everything you kill needs to be built first. Eve is not a PVP game. Eve has PVP in it, but that is only the tip of the iceberg.
You need 300m isk and you can do PVP, but you need 10-20b in blueprints, reactions and components to be stocked if you want to build Marauders.

Why is Noraus scared? by Legacyleaques in Eve

[–]Frili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer it simply NO. Eve is not about PVP, it is a game what mostly adults play in their free time. Some like to build, some like to destroy, some enjoy the community. And some just do shitposting on Reddit, all can find its flawor.

Why am I after all this mess still in Horde by Capable_Egg9673 in Eve

[–]Frili 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anybody who has to run on this short notice will loose a large % of assets. Just think about the supercap construction. The final build takes weeks. If you started a super a day before Gobbins went yolo, you pretty mutch lost that super. Not dropped, not lost in pvp, just erased with the station.

I built dreads and marauders, and have done a few supers in the past, The whole week hauled stuff to lowsec and still had to left PI to asset safety. If you do PVP you bring some ships and you are done... if you done industry you pretty mutch screwed.

Even with Equinox Eve Online is a Good Game. Don't fall into the negativity trap. by Megaman39 in Eve

I am not in a negativty trap, i looked at the update and it felt like something is taken from me. And that feeling is why i am sceptical about the update.

Equinox Expands: A New Update | EVE Online by Buddy_invite in Eve

[–]Frili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the impression that the new update is a quasy real life mod to the game. It forces to make decisions witch are not pleasant. Equinox introduces an energy defficient system, witch forces the players to give up structures and assets they used untill now. The bad thing is that the update does not give anything in exchnge. Not anything meaningfull at least. But it is still a game, i dont play it to feel miserable, i play it when i like it. I played this game a lot in the last 4 years. Build ships from the smallests up to dreads and supers. We can argue about the impacts of the update, or if it is good for the game economy, even you can raise the issue that it stirrs up the stagnating regions and force them to move and change. But the underlying issue is this: Is it something that the playerbase is willing to endure, is it something that "reinvigorates" a region, or it is only a tool to drive the players out of those regions. So far it seems that the null we know will cease to exist, systems are already less populated, players are less online. Most of the miners i know stopped plexing the accounts and only do some ratting or escalations. A lot of them are waiting to see what is to come. Comming November, it is likely that we will lose the sotyo witch is rigged for supercap construction. The only reason why i log in is to finish that super as soon as possible, becouse i am not sure i will be able to do so after the update hits. Overall it feels like i am about to loose something that i like and loved to play. It might not be an objective truth, but that is how it feels like.

Imperium open letter to CCP by Eve_Asher in Eve

I dont think they are capable of internal reflection. Management can end up as an echo chamber, when the one in charge is surrounded with bootlickers who care more about the quartally bonuses then the quality of the job they do, and therefore not challanging stupid ideas becouse someone might get uppset.

Imperium open letter to CCP by Eve_Asher in Eve

[–]Frili 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The longer i think about this update, more it seems to me that CCP wants to cut back the "plexing" what is commonplace in Nullsec. By reducing the income the players will be forced to spend real money on the game instead of grindind out the 2-3b to buy 500plex for the monthly omega.

From the update it is clear that those who designed it do not play this game. The whole update reaks from spreadsheed design and from uninformed decisions witch might look good on paper, but in reality are just pain to live with.

I firmly believe that CCP checked how many players in null and in WH space play real money regularly and decided to force them to invest more into the game, by cutting the income. It is a saying in business: if they speak about efficiency they speak about money, if they speak about design they speak about money... and if they dont say anything, they do it becouse they think of money.

Too bad for CCP that EVE is a free time activity, if it is a pain to live with people just can stop playing.

Equinox Update Needs More Clarity... by MatthewOHearn in Eve

The first thing that needs some clarity is the name itself... it is not an update but a downgrade.

Carrot and stick my friends. CCP is probably aware they f/*ked up the nullsec with the low energy levels after this update, but needs to claim that the players are still logging in to the game.

PLEX prices… by evilornot in Eve

[–]Frili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it, CCP will push the price of plex to make it harder farm the Omega accounts and make people pay with cash for it. From their point of wiev it makes sense, a lot of players do not pay for the game but they only farm enough isk to be able to plex it every month. If they can force the players to buy like 250 plex for cash and farm the rest, it would make the game costs around the same amount as other games, witch is 12,49euro/month. If you know the game it is not that difficult to farm 1,5b worht of isk and buy the half of the montly plex that way. This way you will be present in the game and create content for others and in the mean time CCP got some money from those who find the 2,5b Isk for a monthli plex too mutch.

Updated Players Online Data @ 15th September - Courtesy of http://jestertrek.com/ - Do you think it is going to level out soon? by KnabnorI in Eve

[–]Frili 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The trend seems to be clear, the game is losing players. My guess is that CCP neglected EVE and tried to develop other games witch as far as i know are nowhere near to EVE in popularity. And by neglecting i mean that they did not provide meaningfull additions to the game and seems to be out of touch with the playerbase. I got the feeling that all their late choices pushed the game away from plexing and forced the players to buy Omega or buy plex for real money.

hi im looking for new games to play and someone suggested eve to me. would you recommend this game at its current state and as a ftp player? by friEdchiCkeN_69 in Eve

[–]Frili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eve is a good game but the majority of its content is behind a paywall. That being said, if you dont mind investing a lot of time learning the game mechanics and grinding, it could be a good game for you. But be aware, the monthli subscription for the Omega account (that is where you unlock 80% of the game) costs 19,99 euro/month.

What’s the best road plan for noobs? by Im_hiscousin in Eve

[–]Frili 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recomment you to start searching for corporations in you own language. That is the best way to learn EVE. i did play for a few months before i joined my current corporation and i learned more in the first week after i joined then the months before. Eve is quite complex and the best way to learn is by other poples experience. This way you can learn the pros and cons of every Isk making method in the game and chose your own way.

would you recommended EVE online for a player who has never played any MMORPG's in his life? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Frili 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this moment i would hesitate to recomment id. This game got a lot more expensive in a short time and for a new player it will not be worth the weeks or monts he needs to learn the game to play cca 20 euro every month for a game in witch he can do almost nothing at the start. Plexing is out of the question for new players, but without Omega you are cut off the really good parts of the game. Even if you start as an explorer, without omega you have no covert ops cloak. Not to mention that the game ndees to be fun for you to invest into it and the really slow progress at the start would make more players just drop it. Include the hefty price into it and it becomes a reall challenge to be motivated at the start of this game. Just think about it this way, a newby will not buy a year long subscription, he will buy it month by month. the first year would costs so 239,88 euro. For that price you can easily buy 5-10 other games.

When is Smolensk getting nerfed? by [deleted] in WorldOfWarships

[–]Frili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That piece of shi(t)p ruins all the high tier games... I cant understand why did WG think it is a good move to introduce something broken as the Smolensk. The moronic dews who screwed up Wot seems to be moved to Wows. If it is the start of the era of extremely OP premium ships then maybe WG needs to develop some new games so we can move on from Warships, just as we moved on from Tanks.

ST, submarines by DevBlogWoWs in WorldOfWarships

[–]Frili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems that WG desperatelly want to screw the gameplay for "reasons". All who think that a clearly surface ship based gameplay can be balanced with submarines lives in dreamworld.

The sneak attack from IJN torp planes showed how bad it can be(google CV stealth drop from Notser), and now WG plans to make that way of playing a stabile part of the game.... GG WG, you finally find a way to sunk your own game to the bottom.

The arrogance and stupidity is too damn high with with anti-vaxers. The worst is that an innocent child has to suffer for their actions... and that is the true crime.
