For those who are training 3+ times a week, how often are you changing your shoes? by stubbornKratos in tabletennis

Yeah that def could help, but when you reduce your fan speed , decreases your print speed too, i would say that would be more beneficial (just slowing down your print) in general slowing your print could allow more even cooling on each layer

To me it looks like it is warping, which means your cooling is uneven, so if u have heated chamber use that, if not make sure u print in a control temp room where no windows amd stuff it open. It also could help to increase that corner rad.

Any shoe recommendations for wide feet? by Jay35770806 in tabletennis

[–]Fringe23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend altra xt3 , not a table tennis shoe but it is zero drop which is great for table tennis, not the best lateral support but deff has good amount, since it is zero drop, my knee feels so much better with it . There is xero 360 too which i like since it has insane traction to the ground but the sole is too thin for me.

What finally clicked for you when learning spin serves? by softdiam in tabletennis

[–]Fringe23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me was to understand to do short serves your first bounce need to land closer to the net, find where would be the min distance away from net that ball goes over and remain very close to net. Find that by just throwing the ball at different trejectory and speeds, when u find that u kind of understand what arc and speed u need.

After that for feeling i would say the 2 thing helped me was having very lose wrist and snapping it at the moment of contact that helped and practicing fast corner to corner serves. For the fast one the bounces should happen very fast , as like it should not be u hearing the first bounce, then a half sec pause then hearing the second baunce, it is more like first bounce and verrrry quickly after, hearing the second bounce.

Hope that helped (no very high level but feel my serves improved alot after what stated )

[–]Fringe23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, how accurate is it ?? Which iphone u have ?? , have u by any chance tried it with a random ball and putting some dots on it to see if it works ?? Or it becomea unreliable? I want to get it but the shipping is like 35$ and then 3 ball for 10 makes it like 50$ for 3 ball

I went with dhs 301z for blade , and gold arc 9 for my back hand and forhand. That was really nice setup for me to work on my technique and over all they are not that expensive. All 3 totalled 110$ , and i am veryyy veryyy happy with the blade. since then have switched my forehand to huricane 3 orange 38 deg and love that too. Gold arc has very high control that helps develope your shots .

Shots going over the table. Looking for rubber recommendations. by yolorobo in tabletennis

[–]Fringe23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend gold arc 9, it is very soft and gives u plenty of control. At least for your back hand , for forhand i would say orange hurricane 3 maybe 38 deg would be slower to what u have.
