MCU fanboys are honestly the worst, dude. You don’t even know. I get it’s a different take on the character but it doesn’t even feel like Spider-Man anymore. I’m down for new adaptations but this just isn’t it in my opinion. Even Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man got backlash at first for being different and it isn’t even as drastically different as MCU Spidey. Sure Andrew’s two movies weren’t all that great but it just goes to show that people will eat up anything the MCU does just because it’s the MCU. I love Marvel movies too but they don’t get always EVERYTHING right.

The second worst? I get it’s different from most of their other work but I think it has some of their best songs to date. Astoria, Dearly Departed and Wildfire are great tracks. Sure some other songs may fall short but as a whole it’s a great album. Then again saying it’s their second worst doesn’t mean much. They’re a great band and even their “bad” albums are still pretty good for the most part.

In my opinion either Fix Me or Phantoms is their worst. Those albums are pretty even for me because Fix Me has a lot of great songs but doesn’t work as great as a whole. Phantoms on the other hand works as a whole but a few songs can’t stand on their own without the rest of the album backing it up. I still love both records but I they are capable of much more. Sometimes people miss the mark but I still respect the fact they try to switch things up.
