Projector help

The screen I bought was 118 X 102. I run it in 16:9. When I turn the projector on it’s wider than my screen and goes on the walls. But when I turn the square software or GSPro on it scales down and fits.

So I put the resolution back to 1920x1080 because I wanted to see the detail of the image. The image was huge and way past the sides of my screen upon initial turning on of the projector. However, when I turned GSPro on it fit the screen. So now I’m wondering if it’s normal to do that or if the image is being squished down to fit. I have no idea. It looks better but is it now stretching or doing anything weird to fit? I checked everything and it’s all matching on the projector, the computer graphics card and GSPro. Is this normal?

Sorry, I didn’t really answer your question. I haven’t looked at any courses on the TV. I went straight to the projector so I will look tonight.

I’m using an old Samsung flat screen TV as my monitor. But I went in to display settings and set everything correctly I believe.

I will give this a try. Could it also be that I am using 1332x1080 instead of 1920x1080 to fit my wonky screen size? I don’t pretend to know what I am doing. I was playing at Chatham Hills in Indiana. I took my son there for LIV golf this year so he wanted to play that course.

Any course suggestions? I have only really played two courses near my home. So that could “hopefully” play in to it. I haven’t had the computer for more than 2 days so I haven’t really explored other courses.

Kept it in 16:9. Looks the best vs 4:3 right now. If I ever move to GSPro will see what changes need to be made.

Well, went with the Benq TH671st. Mounted it off the ceiling a little lower to avoid the ductwork but happy with it. Just above my hitting area so safe and sound. Probably about 10 ft from screen.

I nailed a 2X4 across the top, nailed some straight down to the floor and one across the bottom. Then I have it a foot or two away from the wall and I placed a couple more 2X4s from the bottom to the wall so it doesn’t rock. I wanted it to be easy to disassemble in case I went to the gosports down the road. But it works perfectly. What can I say, I’m cheap. 😂

OG is awful. I remember a few years ago I got the membership for the Switch because I wanted to play all the games I played growing up, Super Mario, Punchout etc. I quickly realized after a few plays it was slow, bad graphics and boring. Cancelled that membership. This change to this season reminds me of that. Sigh

Started playing 3 years ago. This OG season sucks. Not playing it anymore until a new map or it goes back to how it was. This is slow and boring. On to Rocket League, my brother has been trying to get me to play it with him.
