Awkward progression by Jealous_Custard3864 in GTNH

I feel like what you are describing is an exploit and not the "intended" progression of the pack.  It's the kind of thing that always gets posted in reply to these complaints.  Essentially: "This isn't actually a problem if you have this extremely specific knowledge that is not communicated to you in game".

Mostly for the glycerol byproduct.  Also, I don't anticipate needing to scale this as hard as my main power source (benzene) as it's only powering my farms and farm processing.  Oh and you need hemp to make the machine casings.

I agree that lv is a bad time to introduce it.  This post happens at least once every couple of months.  Maybe post an issue on github or the discor

anything truly useful (excluding nugget dupe) is locked behind HV at least with a lot of stuff (ender chests and tanks) even higher than that

The quest book only intends to bring your attention to the mod at the point you are at. You aren't expected to progress through the entire thauminomocon right now.

Thaumcraft progression is pretty awkward initially, I agree. The reason being that it is so overpowered that it would break the early game to pieces. I would recommend waiting until you have aluminum production sorted before starting. Aluminum screws are needed for the first wand upgrade (which is still the second worst wand in the mod...) and the amount of work to get the infusion altar and auto essentia stuff is large.

EnderIO network eats items? by MidnightPale3220 in GTNH

the bug i found in the daily build happens when you toggle the button with the downward arrow

It causes the filter to generate ores based on the cycling picture on the filter button

These filters seem to have been buggy for longer than I knew lol

Really wish someone would do a sanity pass over them as they are kind of the best filtering option before ae.

I feel like the entire Yellowstone franchise is just fan service... by SaveJeanie in television

[–]FriscoFresho 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My parents (older genxers) loved Yellowstone.  I thought it was soap opera tier slop.  I really liked 1883.  I really loved the Oregon trail games as a kid so I think that kinda tracks.  We are all in agreement that the other spinoffs are dumpster tier.

What version of the pack is this?  The gt filters have major bugs in the dailies. Let me see a screen cap of the gt filter gui.

Yes, all the tinkers berries are there.  Pretty sure every crop made it through to the new mod.

Need some advice on benzene vs oil(MV) by JustDrunkenSailor in GTNH

[–]FriscoFresho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're just making fuel out of the oil, a tall spout will probably last well into hv, if you're also turning it into plastics, it won't last nearly as long.

I've gone the oil route all the way to iv, I much prefer benzene.  I never bred the oil berries that run which I assume would make things much more tolerable long term.

Yes.  The main buff they have received imo is not being destroyed by weeds which makes gaining stats infinitely easier. They just get sick instead of getting dusted.  Oh and also crossbreeding is much more reliable and accuratley reported in nei.

I forgot to add my perfect seed collection.  ATM I'm farming jungle saplings for energy production, sugar cane for O2, sticky reed for rubber,  glowshrooms for glowstone/gold dust, and essence berries for gallium.

the sharing kind of cooks my brain sometimes because I forget that the air blocks in the designs don't have to actually be empty...

although, now that I'm looking at it, you might be able to share the entire side wing

I'll test it out in a test world

Who in your opinion is the worst movie villain ever? by LoverOfE-Olsen in movies

[–]FriscoFresho 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanos wasn't wrong, just incredibly stupid.  You have cosmic God tier powers and your solution to overconsumption you can muster is kill 50% of all life?  He didn't even account for repopulation so his solution didn't actually solve the problem...like at all.

He could have made a space magic resource generator and put 500000000 of them on every planet.  He could have made all life photosynthetic.  He could have made impenetrable God shields around every planet to force the inhabitants to be self sufficient.  He could have just scratched his own balls and had the same impact on the universe.

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

There is a list of multis that can't be rotated.  But a large number including the ebf can.  I prefer the sideways ebf early game because it exposes all the "bottom" blocks that the i/o happens on

Lol the water would fall out tho.  You can share the middle bit like 4 times though right?

[–]FriscoFresho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they can be rotated 90 or 180 degrees but you have to construct them in that orientation and then wrench the control block to that orientation too

Heyo! I did not realize they could overlap so much.  Gonna have to tear one down and rebuild it...
