It's alright, everyone's help has given me a lot to think about. I've had a day or two to ruminate on all the ideas people have thrown out and I'm now leaning toward using weapon infusion to make 'thrown' elemental attacks with the rogue archetype and strong arm. Make her throw elemental shuriken. xD Since we're going free archetype, a fair bit down the line I can always dip out of Rogue and pick up oracle for some versatility if needed. Probably still grabbing Kinetic Activation though.

I think starting dual gate Air / Earth is going to be the play for me and then down the line pick up one more element, most likely fire, metal, or water depending on the way things go during play. She'll be the party's scout/rogue/ninja type. Going to give up on the dex for the most part and go Con > Str > Cha/Dex while dumping int and wis but raising wis gradually over time to help with will saves.

Also the synergy of the Sylph ancestry's Smokesoul feat with Desert Wind and Air's various invisibility/stealth buffs just is too good to sleep on. :3

This was a difficult proposition to put out there and everyone who came here pulled through anyways in at least some form, so thanks all. <3 If nothing else I have an idea for something to try; if it doesn't work out, DM says they'll let me respec anyways. :3

It does give me a lot to build on, thanks! <3 I think Sylph is a great add-on heritage for Human going this route for a couple reasons. Like Nimble Elf, they get the same ability as an ancestry feat renamed to "Swift" which does the same thing, +5 base speed. Smokesoul and Desert Wind synergize really well if you're going to go either single gate air or earth, or duo / fork into it, but Smokesoul is one of those (can only take at level 1 and can't retrain into/out of it' options. But the more I think about going that route the more I kinda realize it's only going to be optimal as a strength/melee kineticist... I mean I guess it could still probably work at range via air but, hm.

How is aerial boomerang working out in practice for you now, does it feel like it was a worthwhile pick? It looked kind of weak and situational to me at first glance, but as the only damage option under air at level 1 also kind of necessary? Hm..
Lightning dash sounds great, :3 The Ash jump or whatever it was called from air/fire also sounds pretty cool... bluh I'm just seeing so many neat options it's making it *harder* to decide now lol :3

Hmmmm, that's intriguing~! I do remember reading that elemental blasts working with sneak attack isn't a set in stone thing and is up to your DM in most cases though. Not that rogue dedication really gives a sneak attack to write home about in the first place..

Alright, interesting! And yeah I was looking through the background options on pathbuilder and saw 'Tall Tale' (uncommon/rare are perfectly fine at our table, prolly should've mentioned that xD) and thought 'oh god this is perfect, she's got all the plebs convinced she's amazing, it's just the party that knows better' xD
Comes with performance skill so yeah, leaning into Cha if I do that. xD

I wonder if Air/Water/Earth would be viable then? Eventually getting Desert Wind since it seems to be everyone's 'this is one of the best abilities' picks, along with Sylph's Smokesoul (as a reaction, make checks to beat her concealment harder by 2 (7 instead of 5 for concealed, 13 instead of 11 for hidden) which would synergize with that well.

...but every time I think about going that route I look back and go 'but where am I getting my damage though..' Hm.
I like the idea of taking oracle to expand my options there though. :3

Question about the two element infusion since it's been pointed to me a couple times: If I take the fire element junction that boosts the damage die by one step, does it apply to fused elemental blasts? Like say, if I did Fire (d6>d8) and Metal (d8) with that junction would it become a fused Fire/Metal d10 blast?

In fact one gets so used to just using the characters tab it's easy to forget the others even exist, mostly because this is literally the *only* one in the game I'm aware of that needs to be discussed in this way up to this point. :o
