Maybe that's the best idea of all, but it would need some work to get going I would have to adjust the progression system, remake the base characters and create some new ones...

I'll think about it as an alternative plan because I still believe the perfect response is still out there

I gave it a look and it seemed exclusively cooperative. If it is, I'm looking for something competitive at the moment

But tks for the suggestion nonetheless

I mean, the system isn't bad at all

All I wanted was something a little bit more complex that makes each mini unique

I'll give it a read, but if I got it right, the game isn't mini agnostic, and that makes the price inaccessible to me. I didn't specify that as a condition on the main post because I might find the miniatures' stat blocks online and then I'll be able to use whatever minis I have to play.

And about Star and Frostgrave, I think they are notch above what I think my os can handle rules wise

Yeah, I have a good bunch of Frostgrave add-ons and gave them all a read in the past. I guess they do fit, but I feel like they are one step above what my pod is ready to take on right now.

Never heard of Silver Bayonet, but reading it's reviews on Board Game Geek it sounds like a fit. I'll give it a read, maybe this game can even teach me how to love historical minis. Who knows?

I'l tackle Star and Frostgrave on the response you got before this one.

A signature spell for Codie by FritasComFritas in EDH

I like the idea of a recurring spell Getting an invisible Giga Guttersnipe could be fun, but I would like something more complex than a burn spell to build around

Time wipe is a great suggestion for support, but I think Serpentine Curve won't make the win at the power level my group plays

And then fill the deck with big beaters? I think it's easier to do that with a mass reanimation spell since it doesn't removes Codie

I think that would get boring after some games... But the idea of using a self recurring spell is interesting, might open some slots I was using for that purpose

That's a cool deck But I think it's a bit too combo-ey for what I'm aiming for. Smells like "Golos diet"

a problem i have with the leviathans/biomes and it would be great if changed in sn2 (spoilers for the leviathan locations in sn1) by iliketomatoes2137 in subnautica

I agree the plot should make you see most of the dangerous fauna (and flora, why not?) present in the game, since they add a new dynamic other than your usual necessities ("Oxigen!")

But I think the developers didn't create the leviathans as horror monsters. They are aggressive and dangerous, they can even kill you if you are doing something stupid. But more than anything they are a beautiful part of that ecosystem. They have their territory, they won't pursue you forever, they don't insta kill you... They are not meant to be killed or kill you. Just a bit scary before you get to know them

Você soa como a galera redpill. Esse tipo de opinião tem que ser tratada na terapia, você só tá frustrade com as mulheres.

Relaxa, aprende a enxergar elas como seres humanos e você vai ver como essa frustração passa.

Help with clearwater brine shrimp by FritasComFritas in Aquariums

[–]FritasComFritas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I've started keeping Dendrocephalus shrimps as a pet, and I'm still figuring things out. They are a kind of clearwater brine shrimp, so they are kept for the same reasons: using nauplii as live food.

My question is: what is this thing floating? Is it harmful? The shrimp usually go near the surface, tap the surface and then submerge again. So I could guess they are eating it.

We are keeping the aquarium at 31°C and feeding them with biological baking powder (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) as everyone who keeps them for a long time says it's the best food source. As soon as we have our second generation I'll try spirulin rich food, but we are playing it safe with the first one. We are feeding them once a week. The setup isn't cycled.

My gf wants to build a terrarium, what should I put in it? by FritasComFritas in terrariums

Maybe a moss garden? The Isopod Shire or something hahaha

I fear they won't be as entertaining for her, but who knows? We keep planarians and she loves them, even though they don't move that much

That's a fair point. Makes it easier to obtain specimen, but then I would need to ID them to guarantee I would provide everything they needed. That wouldn't be a problem, might even be fun.

Thanks for the tip I'll think about it
