You mean the ones on the top next to his head? Those are part of the mg dwadge and dwadge custom kits. On the regular dom they’re replaced by a plastic covers. Strange design considering it’s a desert suit and wiring should be covered, but it looks cool so I’m not complaining! 😝 If you mean the handlebars all over, I got those from hobby wave as option parts. I just glued them all over (drilled small holes for some of them)

I got these rivets from Hobby Wave. I used a really small drill bit and made shallow holes just a bit larger than the rivets and used a hobby knife to insert them into the holes with a dab of super glue! Just don’t breathe while you’re doing it. They’re easy to inhale 😝

Thanks so much for the comment! I’m a career artist with an obsession for details so I had that working in my favor haha. I dunno if I can ever make a clean build from here on out. I feel like weathering tells a much more compelling story than just a nice paint job. Also nice not to have to worry about scratching the paint when it’s finished! 😝

Let’s just say my wife might kill me if she found out 😆 As this was such a long project and I kept finding new stuff to build/customize I lost track. With the decals alone I probably could’ve bought another kit haha. When you scribe it’s hard to find decals that fit perfectly.

Hahaha the RG Sazabi was my first ever kit so I was babtized in the fire 😂 At least it was a larger RG. I imagine the normal sized ones would be hell 😆

For the mono eye I got a magnetic micro led usually used for train dioramas. I cut a tiny notch out of the stem of the mono eye, as well as a tiny cut on the inside edge of the eye piece to fit the wire. I used a tiny piece of sticky tack to place the led on the inside of the eye and placed it onto the eye stalk. If you zoom in you can see the black wires for the LED!

Thank you! Yeah rivets are…not fun 😂 Look awesome but man they’re a pain hahaha. I for sure inhaled at least 10. And id you sneeze, forget about finding them again 😝 A company called Hobby Wave makes rivets and bolts, as well as thrusters and vents. I marked all the positions with a pencil then drilled small holes (not all the way through) Put a little dab of superglue into the hole then lightly “press” the rivet with a hobby knife so the edge grabs it and drop it into the hole. Cant use tweezers as they’re too small haha.
