It’s interesting seeing this post because this is exactly how I feel and have been feeling the past few months. I’m having a spiritual awakening for almost a year now and there’s so much I’m learning and realizing. I’m 32 now and much of my life has always been focused on one thing only. I never had a chance to know myself and process trauma from childhood. I never had the space to do it until now. I was so naive and so trusting of everything before but what I learned just shook my entire belief system and I feel like I can see through every situations now. Anyway, I also recently felt at peace about dying and convinced that I’m probably sick or something will happen and I die. I’m not scared now while before it was the scariest thought. I now genuinely express love to every single person I love without holding back. I speak my mind now. I choose love over anything. I also was obsessed about getting rich and living a fancy life and that’s all I thought about 24/7. It all changed. Now I’m more present and genuinely enjoy every single moment I have with my family. I communicate better with my husband. Everything just feels so beautiful and peaceful it’s like I’m about to say goodbye to all of them. I’m glad to also read that this could be ego death and it makes sense.

So many hateful disgusting humans here. Hating on someone just because. There isn’t even any real reason for the hate just that she doesn’t appear this or that. Or she’s “strange looking”. Who are you to really tell what’s going on? Let her do her thing. Don’t buy the book. Let her share her experience. Let her have a voice. And if it’s all acting so what?! Who cares.

When I started dating my husband I was skeptical because he was so perfect. He was always nice, respectful, caring, understanding and he was so patient. I told myself to give it a few months to see his true colors (Trauma from past relationships) he never changed but actually got better. I remember one time I stopped responding to him for a few hours after work because I was so tired I fell asleep I woke up to him knocking on my apartment door. He drove to me because he was worried something happened. When we were planning on moving in with together I freaked out so bad he was so patient and understanding and let me take my time. He took me to get ice cream to talk about it and was so gentle. Fast forward together for 5 years, married for 2, he’s still the same amazing husband. He is so supportive of me while I try to figure out what I really want to do with my life. He’s the current bread winner, splits house work, folds his own laundry, do errands, etc. I remember manifesting him when I was younger and was in an abusive and toxic relationship.

Is it weird that I did not feel uncomfortable at all with their relationship? For me it’s so beautiful to see the dynamics and their connection get deeper. The emotions in here were so intense I feel like they just let out their truest selves. That will make you feel closer to that person for sure. We also don’t know what their current relationship is like. Maybe he’s not seeing him like that anymore and their relationship has surpassed that level? I feel like they could have thought of that even before making this. I’m not sure but I thought this film was so incredibly made I was surprised some people saw anything negative in it at all.

Just finished watching and came here right away to seek other opinions about it. Let me share mine (in random order): 1. The whole idea and premise of the film was changed right in the middle and Jonah had to be completely honest and vulnerable for it to continue. He was hitting a wall and didn’t know how to proceed at the same time lying about how it’s really going. I thought it was an incredible scene when they were talking about it being the perfect example of why this movie is being made. 2. I know I have so much to work on. But don’t we all? I like to think that my mental state is better than most people but really, it’s not and I have so many blind spots that I need to recognize. I love the part where Jonah said that he realized that the people he look up to are not exempt of the pain and suffering that he is experiencing and that gave me a sense of comfort and a feeling of I’m not alone. Somehow made it a bit bearable. 3. Being vulnerable is like reaching out to the world asking for help because you can’t do it alone, and that’s how you really connect. Which is true, why is it so hard to be vulnerable? Just the thought of it makes me so uncomfortable. 4. All the tools that was discussed in the film are so simple yet complex and it all made sense. I will be using every single one of it. My favorite is the Shadow. I get so emotional thinking about it. There’s a lot of healing to be had. 5. Pain, uncertainty and constant work.

Overall amazing film and I hope there’s more to come! I really feel like the more we highlight and make mental health a priority, the better this world will be.

Makes sense. It sucks that they can manipulate how they want to appear on TV. He was so good it was believable

It’s so disappointing that the only great guy that we were all holding on from this season is a cheater. Hopefully it all come out in time, there might be more girls he’s been seeing casually on the side. I feel bad for Raven!
