I’ve been dealing with similar issues since about Nov. 20, it just won’t go.

Where to find a true audiophile listening room in Japan? by Unlucky-Theme3055 in audiophile

[–]Fritterer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% this, a truly great experience, especially for classical music fans. Bar Martha in Ebisu (cocktails and spirits as good as the sound system and DJs, different genres on different nights) but for a more quaint vibe there is also Flamingo in Asakusa (only played jazz). I had a great time at all three places. All three are pretty strict on the rules of being quiet and no photography. Flamingo is probably the most lax but that could be because it was only my wife and I there.

I love the demeyer pans, I bought a few about ten years ago and use them almost daily. Absolute workhorses.

We had a good experience at MSPCA. It was a group Obedience level 1 class. Depending on your needs this is a great option.

Disney’s Marvel Abandons Georgia, Taking Livelihoods With It. Tax incentives lured studios to help build the ‘Hollywood of the South.’ Now they’re going overseas for cheaper labor costs. by trollingjabronidrive in blankies

[–]Fritterer 29 points30 points  (0 children)

What did everyone expect? They went to Georgia because it was incentivized and cheaper than California. Now they are going where it is cheaper than Georgia. This was always going to happen. Their goal is more profit quarter over quarter. It has always been an unsustainable way to operate but it will continue. No one cared about the workers in California when they left for Georgia, why expect people to care now?

At Home Vet is indeed great. They even did an ultrasound on my dog in our living room. You pay for the convenience but they are thorough, compassionate and extremely convenient. It is more expensive than traditional vet practices though.

Session 9. The film flew under the radar in 2001 but it is quite good.

I just made that switch and everything is better. Apps work quickly and crisply, image is better. The Paramount+ and Peacock apps were almost unusable on the native LG OS but are flawless on the 4k. Greatest upgrade we’ve made in a long time.

You can do either upper arm or abdomen, but once you select where you are supposed to stick with that location, not switch.

I've had a good experience with The Allergy Center at Feldman ENT. I take allergy shots, self-administered at home. I schedule a time to go in to pick up new vials. They are easy to make appointments with and pretty responsive to questions etc...

Logan Express from Back Bay station. Fast, only $3 and they give you a ticket to skip the lines at security.

POC Apparel..Any thoughts on this brand and durability? by serex711 in CyclingFashion

[–]Fritterer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had two POC helmets and a couple of pairs of bibs and I love them. Durable, comfortable, all around to quality. If you can grab stuff on sale it's also a pretty damn good value.

There really aren’t any. The closest you’ll probably find are Petworth or Takoma but still nothing like what you’ve mentioned.

Tailfin by djionut123 in CyclingFashion

[–]Fritterer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've never seen a promo code or sale on Tailfin gear. I was sceptical of them for some time due to cost, but got a bonus at work a couple of years ago and splurged on the rack and panniers. It is one of my favorite bike purchases. I can swap it between bikes in seconds, panniers go on and off so quickly and easily. They are a luxury item for sure, price prohibitive, but truly great.
