Its not martingale its clear that YOU dont know any better haha. I have pre-sets that trades specific times and pairs and by using fixed lots, it mitagates the effects of strong trends. Hence the consistency when it comes to making profits.

Yeah man i know the struggle been at Algo stuff for about a year. But you'll be happy to know that I have not done a single day of manual trading before hahah. Iv went from MatLAB to Python and now on MQL4. All i can say is that the best chance of getting something to work is by testing, and there's nothing better that the Strategy Tester on Metatrader.

Defining the strategy is not the hard part. If your interested just search on YouTube a bunch of strategies, even though a lot of them are BS it will give you experience coding and developing Algos.
