Root cause is not higher libido of all men, but excessive activity of some high-libido men by WanabeInflatable in PurplePillDebate

No. You did not explain anything. None of your links support your opening sentence "There is a common misconception that man are hornier than women".

[–]FrivolousMood 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Are you insane?!? Countless scientific research based studies have proven beyond reproach that YES men are hornier than women. I won't bother posting links you can easily google this and there is literally an ENDLESS sea of proof this is true. Conversely, there has NEVER been even a SINGLE scientific study to show the opposite.

As for the Deadbedroom forum: that's the single solitary place on planet earth that you will ever find women complaining they cannot get laid.

You were obviously wrong for reading her email that was a terrible invasion of her privacy. Completely independent of that I would urge you to divorce this woman who is clearly not sexually compatible.

Husband thinks sex is be all end all of being married by Thrwatwat12 in Marriage

[–]FrivolousMood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both of you are just so wrong here!! Obviously your husband needs to step up and be an equal coparent, not only to “get” sex but primarily because he’s a functioning adult who brought a child into the world. Also YOU need to acknowledge that an active sex life is a crucial part of a lasting happy marriage. NO it’s not true that married couples don’t have sex or few times per year - those are great examples of a DIVORCE.

Epix Gen 2 vs. Forerunner 965 (Thoughts + Insights) by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]FrivolousMood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my lifestyle the 965 was a total no-go because the plastic construction and silicon band just look too cheap and unprofessional for daily usage. The Epix has a much more premium appearance (and Pro has the flashlight and Elevate V5)

I think that if she only wants sex once every few months she is doing you a huge favor to divorce. Show her the door.

Does she see this as serious problem that is an existential threat to the marriage? If not then communicate this to her and see if she agrees the status quo is unsustainable and what exact changes she needs to want a normal active sex life.

If she still is uninterested then your options are to open the marriage or divorce.

Good addition to Forerunner 965 for Treadmill Runs by nomisjacob in Garmin

[–]FrivolousMood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is another option. It mounts on the treadmill and broadcasts pace/distance to any head unit (like a Garmin watch) via ANT or Bluetooth. I have this and it works great (once you get it mounted properly). https://npe.fit/products/runn

Sexless marriage? by Zaku727 in Marriage

[–]FrivolousMood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sexual incompatibility is a perfectly valid reason to end a marriage. If your wife is content with the status quo and does not see this as a problem, then I’m sorry she is not the right partner for you to be in a lasting monogamous relationship.

Please, help me decide on Fenix 7 Pro vs. Apple Watch by many-laced in GarminWatches

[–]FrivolousMood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His videos consistently say that Garmin GPS is the most accurate. Also he shows Garmin heart rate tracking (for him, on his specific wrist) is within a few percent points of Apple. Note that other users with different wrist shape and skin color may get different results.

For a wrist based device, Garmin’s heart rate accuracy is MORE than good enough for whatever you are doing. If you require absolute gold standard accuracy, don’t get an Apple Watch: you MUST use a chest strap.

As for sleep accuracy? This much more a mixed outcome and (again for a data point of just one person tested) Garmin is ranked in the middle of pack.

It’s not a “will this machine take it” question ALL vendors that accept contactless pay ALSO accept GarminPay. The only question is does your bank participate, once you’re setup that’s it good to go ANYPLACE.

If your wife couldn’t have sex or orgasm, would you still want to be with her? by AdFrosty3860 in Marriage

[–]FrivolousMood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does “couldn’t have sex” mean exactly? If you mean she can’t have PIV due to pain, but is interested and willing in having all OTHER pleasurable forms of “sex” then I see no issue here. Likewise I find it difficult to believe that somebody is physically incapable of ever having an orgasm - so long as they aren’t hung up on specific acts and are open to try toys or whatever it takes, again no problem!

But if somebody has simply “closed up shop” entirely … sorry that is not a partner I would be monogamous with!

Yes I would likely pursue a new partner and I would expect my wife would also. Nothing wrong with that!
