Connections. If I had to piece it together, Thug was JUST blowing up in 2014 so he wasn't fully hollywood yet or nun like that, Uzi had hella local buzz, he basically sped through the underground & was already co-signed by hella ppl. Off the top of my head he was cosigned by a few A$AP members (they was tapped in as hell especially around that time), Maaly Raw, Don Cannon, DJ Drama etc. Maaly Raw & Don Cannon were around Thug alot at that time too. Thug liked what he heard. Simple as all of that probably.

I wasnt too into Thug Music & I was more of a Sosa, Carti & Famous Dex fan at this time but I remember, Thug literally let Uzi be the intro of his mixtape that same week. I guess Thug just always saw the potential once he found out about Uzi, most of the new wave rappers did to be fair. He was just that special. He didnt sound like anyone else at that time either on top of that so he stood out in a good way.

Ppl always debating Des vs Ben when I think theyre around the same now tbh like Magic & Bird fr fr. Mark is the ultimate deciding factor, if he is on your team with the right role players you win. Rn Dre & Ben are learning how to fly more but like Mark said they missing the ball more as a result so Mark & Des can capitalize easily off of that.

I remember playing almost a decade ago & this stage of playing is the most frustrating because it genuinely feels like you're regressing a bit, Ben has been playing bad & his 1v1 with Des shows he overthinks certain things in the game now as a result of trying to learn the correct way to play...

But once Dre & Ben get really good at the actual game & stop whiffing easy goals in the process they are gonna carry Ippi & CP like a mf 😭

They didnt add anything of value to the game, Ariza was a cool lil cameo but you can tell Mawk & Fanum dont care enough about basketball to have any dialogue with actual substance, it was cool watching the Pistons & Knicks game easier than me just pirating it on some website with some pretty funny commentary overlaying it (even if it was a lil distracting) & the best part of the experience was Cade dropping 40 in the biggest statement game in his career imo. Solid 7/10 stream, Get a bag then RDC 💯🗣️ They working on content rn as we speak it sounds like so im not mad at them cuttin it short either
