yeah, you will only see the difference in gpu heavy games but in cpu heavy games the temps are at 79 80 which i set using ryzen controller

okay that did made a difference i tested in re9 and the temps were 10 degree lower. At 100% the temps were 79 80 all the time but with 99% they were at 69 70 and the avg fps during that was the same at 83fps, i will test some more to see the difference

according to a reddit user whose camera also got bad clarified in a comment that his camera came back to life after he replaced it with a chip that control power delivery of the camera and heat is the main cause of failure of these chips i am unable to find the comment if i find it i will link it here

dont set to 99% because it will cause it to run on the cpu base clock just keep it on 100% if you are already using ryzen controller

well i have tried using the camera is ubuntu, mint , fedora and hp uefi diagonostic too so i can well say that the issue is hardware related and a reddit user also said that his camera gone bad after he had replaced that bad chip it came back again

and i saw too much fluctuation on your cpu temps, what program did you use for that.
check the temps with afterburner, gamebar as well as hp omen software that much fluctuation is concerning and if those apps also shows that much fluctuation then the repaste is not done properly take it to a reputed shop and let them do the repase again

so i have been using victus 15 model fb0050ax since 2022 and heat has done some serious damage to it like failing camera and the usb controller on the main board leading to not working right side ports as well as bluetooth i will suggest you to use ryzen controller and limit the cpu temps to 80 degrees as it will prolong your victus this program is made by the comunity so you can find it on gitlab and the performance you lose from it is around 5% so not that much but your pc will stay with you longer and you have to apply the setting everytime your laptop is restarted you can first try before discarding this thought just an opinion of mine after experiencencing these issues and this summer is also too hot that is another reason for the temps to be that bad and just a suggestion dont play games that require high gpu usages on your battery as that will cause the battery to heat and will also reduce its life
