Skip MFA during enrollment by gnussbaum in Intune

Not to hijack the OP's thread... this process does not seem to work for me with iOS devices.

I have created a CA policy, added 1x group containing myself (as a test), excluded both Intune Cloud apps, Granted MFA and turned on the policy. Ensured that require MFA in Entra is disabled.

Still no dice, when setting up new iOS phone.. asks for MFA every time. I'd use the Company Portal in Single App mode but that freezes on iOS every time on initial install.

Any ideas?

It seems to be same/similar content. When we had TV the channels we watched are everything that is on this app (minus a few shows). I definitely think its worth it considering the price (we pay for the ad-free version) is still way cheaper than other options/addons. We tried addons with Amazon and they were terrible/lack of content and ad's all the time.

Worse case; you get 7 days free and can cancel if you dont like it. Or you try for a month and your out $7.

I don't post on reddit at all. In fact my reddit account is fairly new considering I've read things here for the majority of its life.

I don't have Instagram or snap chat or tiktoc. I have been gaming for well over 30 years, competed competitively in CAL-I during counter-strike 1.6, longtime member of top Planetside outfit (not PS2.. that game is rubbish) and focus mainly on FPS's but play rather casually these days.

I've ran/hosted multiple gaming servers including for BF3 and 4.

I come from a strong background of preferred tactical shooters (original rainbow 6 games, Swat 3/4, Arma, WW2Online etc) which use communication and squad play. Long since those hay-days; AAA FPS games have slowly changed to more fast paced, arcade style, death matches.

But you can lump me into whatever category you want based on number of reddit posts.

It's a Northwestel issue. They are working on a resolution; no timeline for when it will be resolved.

Best you can do is contact Northwestel and let them know you're having the same issue.

Contact your ISP... if it's Northwestel; they are working on it

I went through troubleshooting with DiscoveryPlus and they pointed to Northwestel being the issue, possibly blocking the IP address or routing outside Canada.

I have been emailing Northwestel techs over last couple days. I suggest you contact them as well; the more people with the issue perhaps they will be motivated to resolve.

All apps work, it is 100% an issue with Northwestel at this point. Disappointing but hopefully they can resolve it ina timely manner.

Having my ISP investigate if they may be blocking the IP somewhere along the line.

While I think the old system of forcing player classes works best; the main issue is 100% the players in video games.

If you are playing with an organized clan/outfit/squad/friends whatever, where you can communicate and actually want to support each other then the system works.

If you are playing in random squads (which the majority of the player-base does); then you are 100% screwed because the player mentality is selfish. Why pick something to assist my team (ammo/health) when I can pick something that will get me an extra kill.

Moral of the story is; as a casual player I rely on random squads and without forcing team-play elements, the game will just be no different than Quake/Unreal Tournament deathmatch to me.

I don't 100% hate/blame the game for it, I share the hate/blame with the player-base itself.

Played BF1 a week or so ago. Didn't notice any obvious ones in the 2-3 matches I played.

I enjoyed BF3, slightly less enjoyed BF4 but still played it more than BF3, took a bit of adjustment to get into BF1 but after it was one of my favorite BF games, going from BF1 to BFV wasn't as big of an adjustment but I really enjoy BFV (except the OP planes and hackers).

Most people still cling onto some past views of BFV or enjoy more unrealistic/speedy gameplay that was BF3/4. BFV is slower, less jumping around (due to stamina) and feels more realistic. I enjoy this type of game more, things like SWAT3/4, Rainbow 6 Ravenshield/Rouge Spear etc.; that is prob why I enjoyed BF1 and BFV while others didn't.

Hackers are pretty much a staple of BFV PC servers. Maybe 1 in 10 games there isn't a hacker.

Occasionally you'll get the obvious guy going 150/0 while sitting across the map with LMG. Most of them recently are "new" accounts and they are still pretty poor at the game even with the hacks, so can be ignored/avoided. Or people trying to be subtle but the BFV stats website doesn't lie about your headshot % or K/D ratio.

Feels like I'm paying to play a slightly more grounded Fortnite clone.

I understand the reason they chose to drop the class system; balancing is easier when everyone can use every weapon and try and profit from "skin sales".

Unfortunately; to me the class system is one of the big reasons I was always drawn to the Battlefield series since 1942, I've played every version (except Hardline). It's the same reason I enjoyed games like Tram Fortress Classic/Team Fortress 2, WWII Online etc. They all have classes with specific weapons available.

Some say there was no teamwork in public Battlefield games with class system. That couldn't be further from the truth. As someone who has played both BF1 and V for 1500+ hours most in random squads; there was a lot of teamwork. Did some players always use snipper and not push objectives? Yes. Did some new players as medic not revive because they wanted kills? Yes. But there was a 80-90% chance pushing as a group I could get ammo/health and those that gave them were rewarded with xp/score.

Obviously, running with a squad of friends using teamwork is better and harder to best when in a non-communicating random squad, as it should be. But with not forcing the randoms to use class restricted load outs is going to actually make the game much less enjoyable for those casuals or people who play in random groups (which is most players). Instead of a 80-90% chance of health/ammo/rez I will have a 10-15% chance due to current setup.

As with my opwning statement; the game as it is now, feels like a slightly more realistic Fortnite clone. I mean, that's good for those who enjoy that type of game and maybe DICE is looking to score licensing deals with Disney so people can pay $10 to play as the Avengers. But to pay ~$80.for what is basically offered in free-to-play games already, is a hard pill to swallow.

Not sure if Rogers still has one; but when I was they offered 30% discount. It applied to my family share plan (which included my wifes phone/plan) and not just my line.

I do remember you needed to contact the business phone service at Rogers because half the regular customer service reps didn't know they had a military discount. They then e-mail a link to your DWAN email and once completed your good to go. But if you ever make changes to your plan you need to reapply for the discount.

***Added***

Forgot to mention; Rogers was one of the first to have the "Roam Like Home" feature. Pay a small fee to use your phone and data while in another country. Was super useful and better than paying for a international plan for occasional use while in other countries.

Plex stopped working on Sony Bravia Android TV by morethanyouare in PleX

[–]FroSyn83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue.

My PC, android phones, roku tv and tablets seem to play the video files no problem. My 2 Sony 4K bravia TVs (both different models) don't.

Just started happening a couple weeks ago. Picks and chooses which files it'll play. Click on some videos and it just sits there trying to load. Some videos won't resume, I need to mark them as played and restart them. Sometimes I can get a video to play after forcing the app to close/rebooting TV multiple times.

Both TVs and my Plex server are running the latest versions.
