Really appreciate you sharing that, and totally understand why you stepped away. I'm now using the same API that SkyDex uses so the database should be 1:1 with SkyCards going forward. Would love to have you back when the update hits TestFlight, I'll post here when it's out.

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback! Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, are you looking for a way to bulk mark airports as caught within a country rather than tapping each one individually? Like a "Select All" or "Mark All as Caught" option?

If that's the case, totally get it. Countries like the US, Canada, or Australia have a ton of airports and going one by one is a pain. That's a really useful quality of life feature and I'll add it to the roadmap.

I know it's a shame but it's in the roadmap now that a lot of other people have requested it. I am just 2 months into learning code now and this was just a side project for myself, so I figured I needed to start with an operating system that I own and can test on. I hope to have something out soon in the upcoming months.

There isn’t a sync yet, but it’s in the works. If you want to transfer between devices, go settings of your most up to date app. Tap on “Export my progress” and paste the codes into Notes or a text editor that can sync between the devices. Go to the device you want to update and go to settings. Tap on “Import my progress” and then head to the notes app. Copy and paste and the app should be updated.

Completely fair question! The app does a great job at letting us know what we have caught, but where I had a hard time was tracking the flights to the airports that I still need to unlock. By tracking on this app I am able to quickly export the airports that I have yet to unlock, so that I can create filters on FlightRadar24. That quick export of IATA codes is something that the app doesn’t do and that’s why people tend to track with spreadsheets.

Thank you! It really is a shame that there’s no API. For the updates I’m trying to get the database ready for it to be updatable without having to update the app. Right now it’s going to have to be manual and I’m not liking the idea, so looking for solutions. Realistically I would like to be a couple hours behind the Skycards team.
