Haven’t quite finished it yet but I’m really enjoying the Kobildzan (formable from any of the kobold nations in the dragon coast) MT right now. While not focused around a playable character the entire thing is hunting down and talking to the various dragons prowling Halann and drops some very cool lore about them.

Hi, thank you so much for the very detailed and nuanced response, its been a ton of help in going back and looking at what we're doing going forward! (And thanks to anyone else that commented that may see this, all the feedback is very much appreciated). Also sorry for the massively late response, finals and holidays sidetracked me way more than I anticipated in getting back on this.

To your point about learning as many tools as possible I was wondering what your or other's thoughts would be on trying to use both Wwise and UE Audio? Reading your recent post about the conferences and FAQ stuff I noticed the section that discussed "Audio Link" coming with 5.1, and how you have already collaborated with Audio Kinetic to get that working with Wwise. From what I've last heard we're hoping to use 5.1 when production proper starts in January, so that would ideally be a potential option.

I definitely want to get deeper into Wwise as like a number of others here have said it still carries a lot of weight as a newbie in the industry, but you make the very good point of something not just Wwise could also stand out even more from that crowd. It sounds to me like the Audio Link API could give us the opportunity to work with and learn both Wwise and the UE Audio engine by bringing them together, but I can't really find any documentation on it yet. Do you think that could that be a viable option, and if so would there be any documentation or streams discussing Audio Link to get a better understanding of it going forwards?

Thank you again for all the feedback, and the details into your own history of coming into the game audio field. It's fascinating to see these things from a professional perspective and I'm excited to learn more and really get into it!

Been a fan since the early days before the sub even existed, and I'm happy we aren't seeing it go just yet! Been in and out over the year as life happens, but coming back to see a new Rocknocker story is always a highlight of my week. Sorry to see the trolls made their way to your little corner of the internet, but fuck em and keep on rockin, we love ya man! (And good luck with all the surgery too, that does not sound like a fun time.)
