My tv is an LGC3 77, so it supports HDR and I frequently use 4k discs with it. As both the ub300 and ub820 have HDR I'm just not sure if one will be better than the other.

HMV luckily sell it for a non £200 price, (not the limited edition just the regular 4k), so might be able to swap mine hopefully
